7:00 AM in Tokyo, 12:00 AM in Paris

A rush went through you as the plane ascended off the ground. You watched as the buildings grew smaller, until the clouds blocked your view. You sighed, shutting the window cover.

You were on your way to France with your boss and boyfriend, Byakuya Togami. He had called in a private jet, which differed greatly from the casual passenger planes you had taken in the past.

You were currently in the main cabin. The room was incredibly spacious for a plane. Two sofas were on either side of the tube, with a few extra seats at the end of the room. The cabin was fitted with TV's, air conditioners, ice chests, and even humidifiers. In your exploration of the plane, you found a bedroom beyond the main area, and a bathroom beyond that, both extremely spacious.

It was just the two of you and the pilots. The flight would take about 12 hours. You had left at 7 in the morning, so you'd be in the plane all day. Great. Couldn't it have at least been a nighttime flight, so I could've slept the night?

You sat across from him. He was reading the newspaper.

"Take a look at this." He handed you the paper and pointed.

  TOGAMI HEIR FIRES EMPLOYEES

On May 17, the heir to the Togami Conglomerate...

"It made headlines? I didn't think it was that big of a deal." You read the newspaper headline.

"Anything about large business owners is important. Naturally the media would be interested in something like this."

"It's surprising how quickly they can get ahold of information. It's only been a few days."

He nodded, then took the paper back. "It scares me. They're like the megaphone for the businessmen of this world, letting the public know what we're up to."

  "Spooky."

  "Tch." He rolled his eyes.

You watched the second hand on the clock. "When's breakfast?"

"You can have it whenever you want. It's in the galley. I didn't bring any attendants, so you'll have to serve yourself."

"Thanks." You rolled off the sofa and went to the galley.

The galley was the smallest room in the plane, besides the flight deck. It still wasn't cramped though. Byakuya had preordered breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the two of you. You found your meals in the fridge, and easily prepared breakfast on the stove.

12:00 PM in Tokyo, 5:00 AM in Paris

You had 7 hours left. After thoroughly searching the TV channels, you ended up bored once again.

"Byakuya, I now empathize with your hatred of planes." You sighed.

"I'm glad you understand my troubles." Byakuya was reading. "If you've ran out of things to do, then I suggest you get some sleep."

"Why? It's the middle of the day."

He sighed. "We'll arrive in Paris at 12 AM, central European time. The meeting is at 2, then we'll check into a hotel at 4. Jet lag and time zones will disrupt your sleep, so I'd suggest you catch up now...in fact, that's an order. Go rest up."

"Fine." It wasn't like you had anything better to do, so you headed to the bedroom.

A queen sized bed took up most of the space in the room. The room was mostly red with gold trim, with corresponding wallpaper and decorations. A cabinet stood in the corner, and a vanity in the other. It was dimly lit.
