chapter twelve

sebastian's plan of helping her sleep by kissing her had well and truly backfired after their kiss sebastian had smiled at her before going to his bedroom leaving rachel confused emotional and questioning everything.

she laid in bed thinking infinite thoughts of does he like me is that why he doesnt want the narriage to end. who would i guy like him want her when he could any girl he wanted. why had niether of them taken their wedding rings off. she thought back to him giving her his hoodie putting her suitcase on the bus for her carrying her when her shoe got stuck then carried on carrying her because her shoe had broke. why had he decided to do laundry at the same time she had. he had given her his hoodie and even sprayed his cologne on it yet she knew he hadnt wornnit inbetween her washing it and him giving it back to her he had done that to comfort her. he had come to the theatre to make sure she got home safely even though she was with blaine at the time. then there was the moment in the kitchen whennthey had had a food fight and had both been laughing hysterically.  all those things played over and over in her mind and then there was their kiss she had been stunned at first but had kissed him back.

the next morning

rachel woke up to find blaine sat on the side of her bed  smiling at her holding a coffee mug in his hand.

" thought you could use a caffeine boost" blaine said rachel sat up and took the mug from him.

" thanks " rachel said blaine smiled at her.

"  you ok" rachel asked

" yeah i was about to ask you the same thing" blaine said

" im tired i didnt sleep very well" rachel said

"so i take it something has happened then" blaine said

"what" rachel asked

" well sebastian is whistling and humming and has a smile on his face and a spring in his step so i guess i thought maybe something had happened" blaine said

" we kissed well he kissed me" rachel said

" did you kiss back. " blaine asked

" yeah" rachel said

" so what happens now" blaine asked

" i dont know" rachel said rubbing her forehead

" is he a good kisser" blaine asked rachel looked at him.

" im just curious " blaine said holding his hands up.

" yes" rachel whispered

" you best get up maria" blaine said standing up from her bed and left.

rachel sighed took another sip of coffee and was about to get out of bed as sebastian walked in tray in hand.

" morning" he said cheerfully placing the tray which had a bowl of granola and fresh fruit and yogurt plus a croissant on her lap.

" thank you... you didnt have to do this" rachel said

" yes i did you gave me something amazing last night" sebastian said

" you kissed me" rachel said

" you kiseed bck but im not talking about the tjough i admit it was pretty epic im actually talking about tbe fact that you gave me hope" sebastian said

" hope" rachel said

" yeah that you like me and that i do have a chance of proving to you how much i like you" sebastian said rachel was speechless partly due to have only woken up five minutes ago but also given how animated he was as he spoke blaine was right sebastian definitely was happy.

" anyway i will let you eat i have to speak to one of my professors so i have to go to college earlier this morning but have a good day at nyada ans at rehearsals and i will see you afterwards and we can talk" sebastian said before kissing her cheek and leaving the room.

later that day

rachel was in the middle of a choreography session with blaine and the rest of the cast of west side story blaine kept smiling at her like he knew something she didnt or something she didnt know that he knew.

" thats a wrap guys that was great see you tomorrow " the director said they all made their way to the changing rooms.

" i wonder if we will be having a chaperone this evening" blaine said nudging her arm as they reached the changing rooms.

" blaine " rachel said

" what your the one with the doting hubby" blaine said before walking into this changing room while rachel went into hers.

as rachel and blaine left the theatre blaine tapped her arm she turned to look at him and saw him looking a cross the street where she saw sebastian waiting to cross.

"looks like our body guard has arrived " blaine said as sebastian crossed the street.

" wow" one of the other girls in the play said as she saw sebastian rachel couldnt deny it annoyed her.

" hey" sebastian said as he reached them

" hi" rachel said

" hello" the girl said

" hey" sebastian said

" im carly" the girl said

" im sebastian rachel's husband " sebastian said

" oh" carly said

" so shall we get going" sebastian said both rachel and blaine nodded and set off rachel couldnt look at blaine as he was grinning at her.

" was you talk with your professor ok" rachel asked as they walked

" yeah it was all good " sebastian said

" kurts working at the diner tonight i think i will go there and see him and have dinner" blaine said

" ok" sebastian said thry walked together for to more blocks before they reached the diner blaine went inside and rachel and sebastian carried on walking to the subway.

a short while later they were on the subway and it was pretty packed and rachel kept knocking into sebastian as people got on and got off the train.

" sorry " rachel said as she caught him

" its ok" he replied as she knocked into him again as a woman with a large bag moved past her almost sending her flying.

" sorry " rachel said again.

" quit apologising its ok im not complaining " sebastian said smirking at her.

they finally reached the loft rachel went to have a quick shower while sebastian ordered them a pizza.

rachel now dressed headed into the living room just as there was a knock on the door rachel assuming it was the pizza went to answer the door as she was reacjing for the door handle sebastian came walking out of his room.

" i got the money here its here sooner than i thought it would be" sebastian said as she opened the door.

" bet you wasnt expecting me..." santana said before walking into the loft.
