Dawar threw a grande party on the arrival of his little one. She is truly a bundle of joy. All the time she was in my lap. I couldn't bring myself to give her to somebody else.

Hey! I can't share.

The party came to an end and Zonia asked me for the night stay. Honest to goodness, I hated the notion of staying here under the same room with that sick head. He was being really creepy now. He kept taking her baby from my lap while brushing my hands and hijab in the process.

'I've work tomorrow.', I pouted making excuses but in this whole world my mother had tointervene.

'Come on Zasha your sister needs you, and in future she'll be there for you in such days', she patted my head like I was some kind of puppy.

I inwardly rolled my eyes at the idea of her helping me in future. She didn't help me in past why would she help me in future.

'Mum I'm not feeling well please, I'm sorry Zoni.', she was glaring at me.

'Why what is it?', heard the one who was so much not needed.

He deliberately touched my forehead false checking fever.

What the hell!

'You seem good Zasha.', he perched on the sofa across.

God! Where are you Zaki? Must be smoking outside. Idiot.

'I've to go Uni early tomorrow and I'm really not feeling well mum.', it was the time of month. And those cramps were now burning my loins.

'Dawar will drop you at your Uni tomorrow. No?', Zonia said and then asked him.

'Yeah.', he said hiding his smirk.

Shit. I'm stuck.

Why me? I could feel my blood boiling by now.

'We should leave now it's getting late Zoni.', mum stood up, I helped her out and their stood the hero of his own world.

Zaki looked at us and headed for his car. He brought it around while mum made herself comfortable in it. He looked at me and raised his brows.

Yeah I'm stuck here now thanks to you. In my mind I was hammering him down the way popye used to do with bluto.

'She's staying here tonight.', Dawar barked at him and Zaki gave me a puzzled look.

I rolled my eyes at him.

Why did you leave me alone now don't give me that look you fool.

His shoulders slumped and he shook his head. In a matter of seconds he was gone. I saw as the car's frame shortened with time like my heart.

'Zash', he whispered and how much I wanted to scratch his face with my nails.

I glared at him. How dare he call me that. Only my family calls me that. He's not family.

I jog ran inside from the porch. I saw Zonia heading upstairs and I followed her steps before taking my bag.

'I'll sleep here with you.', I said with determination as we entered her grand room.

'We have a lot of rooms here Zash you'll feel good there.', she started changing baby's nappy.

Time to play.

'I want to spent my time with this little one.', I said while kissing her nose.

'I've told the maid to ready your room Zasha.', he came out of nowhere and dropped his frame on the bed. It all happened in slow motion, the bed dipped under his weight and then came back to its former position making the baby jump in the process.
