6 days later

She ran with flailing arms towards her bed, crying audibly.

He saw Musa's upside down frame on the couch stir up at her cries and Zaid cursed inwardly.

He had just slept and she woke him up.

Musa sat up at the sight of Zonia crying loudly, shooting pain across his brain nerves.
He was sleep deprived and every single noise escalated the pain.

Finger brushing his hair, he rushed out of the room to escape the howling but he didn't know what was waiting for him outside.

He thought to get the painkillers for his headache and on his way he saw a gut-wrenching sight.

He stood their with his daughter enveloped in his arms, cooing her.

He was here.

Bile rose up in his throat and his hands curled into fists.

'Musa boy!', he exclaimed at his sight and he chewed at his lower lip.

'Right?', he asked coming closer to him.

He still looked immaculate. Leather jacket paired with jeans.
He didn't look a married man until someone sees his daughter at his side.

'You look good.', he said while clasping his back.

'Dawar.', Musa nodded not even bothering to return his clasp with a hand shake.

'How's she?', he asked as if it was the last thing he wanted to know.

'Sleeping.', he muttered while looking at his daughter who was chewing on her teether.

'Poor creature.', he commented with a weird face.

His blood boiled at it. But he kept shut. Dawar noticed Musa's strange behavior. He remembered a carefree Musa but he was someone else.
He began his tease.

'I heard about your divorce.', he said with a smirk.

His nerves stretched more making him wince at his comment but he kept his combative posture on the show.

'She was a beautiful girl.', he teased again.

'You still remember her?', Musa asked with a frown.
He was appalled by his sharp memory.

'I always remember girls.', he muttered and laughed at his own joke.

'Puappa!', his daughter uttered in her baby voice.

'This is my daughter, Dania.', he told Musa who smiled at her and she quickly opened her arms to jump at him.

Dawar quickly backed away, clutching his baby.
Musa frowned at his gesture but quickly grabbed the depth of the situation.

He wants all the girls yet he doesn't want any other man to look at his girl

'Uncle is in hurry baby. He has to go.', he cooed at Dania who wailed at the sudden movement.

Musa nodded at him and headed for the pharmacy.

Dawar made his headache worst.

She wrapped a scarf around Zasha's head and scolded Zaid for not doing it before.

'You've Na-Mahram roaming around in this room, can't you cover her head?'

And by Na-Mahram Zaid knew she meant Musa.
He rolled his eyes at her lectures that she kept giving ever since she came here.

He looked at the empty couch.
Musa still wasn't back.

'You good?', he asked her.

'You won't understand...', she said after opening and closing her mouth several times.
