Amour

Knowing the fact that she was few floors down made him restless.
What is she?

Woman

Someone who knows how to make men fall down at their feet.

Jotting down the notes, he let the pencil fall from his long fingers and roll over the table like a cat. He took off his reading glasses and looked up at the pure white ceiling.

She had to see her doctor today. But the mystery guy was captured now.

Dawar

He remembered that boastful man very well who kept bragging about his deluxe life, making Zonia as his highest luxury.

Then why his luxuries expanded and gulped Zasha?

He was Zaid's elder sister's husband.
Making Dawar elder than all of them.

Being a grown up, doing such a nasty job shattered his rank.

Like everyone else, he absorbed the impact too.
Even he didn't know what it was but when his name slipped out of Zaki's lips he accepted it.
There was something about him that told Musa that YES! HE'S DEFINITELY THE CULPRIT.

Hearing his telephone ring, he pushed all the thoughts aside and responded.

'Yup?'

'What would you like to have for lunch?', Scott asked in a static voice.

He glanced at his wrist watch that screamed 1:30 p.m.
The day stretched swiftly, he thought.

He refused for lunch and headed downstairs for his Zasha.

Suffering a painful elevator ride, he crossed the infamous abandoned hallway and found her with Lina the brunette, perched on gallery talking on her phone.

He looked down at her belongings scattered on the floor. His eyes again met her pretty face and she was frowning.

Lina obeyed the signal and faded where Zasha kept humming in her phone.

'Yes.', she obeyed to whomever she was talking to.

'At five.', she repeated it twice and killed the line.

'Assalamoalaikum.', she greeted still frowning.

He greeted back with a genuine smile and branched at safe distance in front of her.

'Why that long face?', he asked while enjoying cold breeze disheveling his hair and flailing his tie.

'This floor is done, I'll reassemble everything and submit you dimensional graphics by tomorrow so you can catch the labor.'

Her voice was so static that for a second Musa felt he heard some robot.

'All okay?', he asked with concern.

She nodded and scratched her brows as if trying to get hold of something.

He kept quiet for a while and she kept giving him side glances then resumed back to looking down at the people beneath them.

'Let's go for lunch.', he said and smiled.

She gave him an angry look then closed her eyes and said no.

'Why not?'

'I don't feel like.', she murmured then looked down at her hands in her lap.

'Why not?', he asked again and got tangled in her lashes. They were so long and thick.
She blinked and his breath hitched.
