Chapter 54

I looked past the window that showcased the vast fields of grass and flowers adjacent to the wall where my handsome and oh so shirtless husband was watering them.
His labradors wagging their tails at him to which he cooed from time to time.

He was a good husband without any streak of doubt.
Obviously!
The one who can cope up with my rants is my favorite and he was no exception to it.

I still remember our wedding. It was truly a milestone to remember.
Not just for me but for everyone.

'What? Now!', Zaki shrieked at what Zaid said.

Everyone in the room stared at Zaid in disbelief.

I glanced at Musa who had a streak of happiness dancing in his eyes but it was short lived at what Zaki said next.

'No this can't be.', Zaki shook his head and stood up from the couch.

I stayed branched on the couch with a thumping heart hammering against my ribcage.

'Its final.', Zaid said sternly.

My gaze never faltered from Musa's face.

There was again a glimpse of happiness and my stomach knotted.

'Why? What the hell?', Zaki sprang up from where he was branched.

Musa frowned at Zaki then looked at Zaid who bellowed.

'Now.'

Well that made all of us gawk at him in a pure state bewilderment.

'Are you out of your mind?', Zaki whispered after good ten minutes of ogling our eldest brother.

'That's my final decision', said Zaid while looking at Musa who couldn't help his grin that was plastered on his face.

He didn't look like he hadn't slept for nights. It felt as if he rejuvenated.
His face was free of all the worries.
Suddenly, it felt as if the long forgotten Musa was back.

He was grinning from ear to ear.

Wow

But Zaki had to be the pickle that tasted stupid with Chinese.
Can't he just shut his big mouth...?
Idiot.

It felt as if we were witnessing a tennis match.
Both of our heads kept turning at my stupid brothers' utterance.

And then it happened in a flash.

I was running.

Why am I running?

I saw my wrist clasped in Musa's hand.
He was running too.

Oh my God we were running away.

Life can't get any better than this moment.

We dashed inside the travellator but turned around only to find Zaki running like mad lion behind us.

But before he could make it the doors slid closed and I sighed.
