He stared through the glass wall at the world beneath him. He worked a lot to get this empire of his own bowing at his feet. He liked it when people gave him a look as if intimidated by his presence.
But she didn't.
She gave the impression of boldness. She seemed anything but alloyed.
So unlike Rumi.
He still remembered her essence, the lessons she gave him were enough to live his life without any mistakes now.
Rumi had a stinking rich background yet she chose to attempt such treacherous ventures, backstabbing him to the core. He loved her like a wildfire, crazy like the moon, sudden like an inhale and overcoming like the tides.
She was nothing but just a gorgeous face embraced with viciousness inside.
He couldn't believe it when he was told by the sources that she had been killing his unborn children.
She used to vindicate him telling that she can't become a mother, ever in her life.
He satisfied his senses and didn't take it as a weapon to pierce her soul instead loved her more with all his might.
'It's okay, I just want you.', he consoled her moving her hair behind ear.
'I'm so sorry Musa, I--I can't.', a loud sob erupted from her delicate cords making his heart restless.
He closed his eyes trying to let it all fade into nothingness but it was harder than he had expected.
He looked down at the cars below passing by that looked like ants.
He again recalled her face. She didn't change a bit. He remembered her small self running around with a bunny toy in one hand, sucking on her thumb of the other hand intently looking up at him with big round eyes.
He smiled at the thought.
Her eyes were still big. So unusual.
She looked so zoomed in while staring down through the glass wall of conference room. She was tall now with a good frame. Just according to his taste.
He shook her head at the thought and cleared his throat. He liked how she swiveled on her heels like a pro making a round frame of her shirt in the air.
The way she gathered herself while sitting on the chair giving perfect responses to everyone's demands. She knew really well about her field.
But what he couldn't comprehend was her frantic behavior after a week or so.
'Yeah I'll get it down here.', he told Zaid and rushed to the elevators for his ride up to his apartment.
He punched in the code of his safe and unlocked it. He surfaced the folder and locked the safe again. While advancing for the elevator he heard someone scream.
His footsteps halted and looked back at his main entrance.
'ZAID.'
He heard her screaming for her brother.
He couldn't decide at first but heard another scream that fired his synapses. He dropped the folder on the coffee table and aimed for his door. He got out and saw as if someone was struggling with the bolt from inside of Zaid's entrance door.
At that precise moment, she flew out of Zaid's apartment landing on him. He stumbled back but hold her fast to him.
'Hey.', he tapped at her face but she wasn't conscious to answer him.
