Tazuna

We had just finished our mission of finding the lost cat Torah. Honestly, after seeing the cats owner and how she handles the poor kitty, I wouldn't blame her for running away. We all stood in the Hokage's office to report our mission.

"Come on give us a real mission!" Naruto demanded. "No more baby stuff! Give us something dangerous. Something challenging and exciting!"

I mean, he's got a point. The Hokage listed a baby sitting job as a mission. Do we look like nannies to him?

"How dare you?!" Iruka exclaimed. "You get basic missions just like everybody else so you could develop your skills and prove yourself!"

"Are you serious?! Babysitting is not a mission! It's just a stupid-!"

Kakashi sensei punched Naruto in the head before he could finish ranting. "Would you shut up?"

"Naruto," the Hokage said. "These missions have a certain ranking for shinobi..."

Naruto went on and on about ramen while the Hokage was saying something else in the background. I just heard mission, shinobi and ranks.

"Silence!" the Hokage ordered. I almost forgot why we were even there. I was a little too into Naruto's talk on different kinds of ramen he's had.

"I'm not a brat who used to pull pranks anymore," Naruto said. "I'm a ninja now and I want a ninja mission."

The Hokage chuckled. "Fine. Since you're so determined, I'll give you a C-ranked mission. Your job is to be escorts on a journey."

"Yes! Who are we guarding? A princess? Or some counselor? Who?"

"Don't be so impatient. Send in our visitor."

We all turned to the door to see who we would be escorting. An old looking man with a towel around his neck and a liquor bottle in his hand appeared through the door. He didn't seem too happy about his escort team.

"What the?" he said. "You expect me to put my life into the hands of these snot nosed kids? And you, the little one with the idiotic look on his face. Do you expect me to believe you're a ninja?"

"Haha! Who's the little one with the idiotic look on his face?!" Naruto's laughter stopped when Sasuke, Sakura and I stood next to him, showing him that he's the shortest one here. Naruto became angry and had to be held back by Kakashi sensei.

"I'm Tazuna, the master bridge builder. I must return to my country safely to finish the bridge that will change our world. You must protect me with your lives."

We all met at the village gates and were on our way to the Land of Waves. On our way, there was a little puddle I saw Buddy perched by. He looked at the water peculiarly and turn his head side to side.

I held my hand out towards him and he flew into my hand. We continued walking until two masked men came up from behind. He used chains with blades on them and wrapped it around Kakashi sensei.

Our sensei was surprised by this attack and was ripped to shreds when the two attackers pulled the chain. We all gasped after seeing our leader leader die a gruesome death right before our eyes.
