Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and I waited hours for Kakashi sensei to get here just so we could start our missions. He finally appeared, crouched on an arch on the bridge.

"Sorry I'm late," he said. "I'm afraid I got lost on the path of life."

"Come on sensei, I want a real mission," Naruto said, with actual fire in his eyes. "No more dumb beginner stuff. I want a mission where I could break out and burn it up! Believe it!"

"Yeah, yeah that's great, Naruto," Kakashi sensei replied nonchalantly. "But take it easy now, would ya?"

Naruto turned to Sasuke and glared at him, obviously in one of his daydreams where he's being the hero and saving the day. I don't understand their rivalry. I don't understand boys in general.

"Tell us when you're done fantasizing so we could start the missions."

***

Our missions were simple. We started by taking out the weeds in an old lady's garden. Naruto not only pulled out the weeds, but he pulled out the lady's plants too. Naruto had to do our next mission with a black eye. Our new mission was to take garbage out of the waterfall. Naruto somehow fell and had to be saved by Sasuke. Our next mission was to walk a couple of dogs. Naruto, for some reason, chose the biggest dog, while everyone else went for the smaller ones. Naruto was nearly blown to its because of the dog he chose.

Naruto was being carried by the arms by Sakura and Sasuke. "Look at you Naruto," Sakura says. "You're hopeless."

"You really are just one big problem," Sasuke adds.

Naruto twisted himself out of their grasps and shouted Sasuke's name.

I sigh. "Our teamwork is getting nowhere."

"That's right and it's all Sasuke's fault! Do you think you're better than everyone else?"

"No not everyone," Sasuke replies. "Just you." I swear, this guy is the cockiest person I have come to know.

Naruto and Sasuke have a little standoff until Kakashi interrupts. "Okay, let's call it a day. You could beat each other to a pulp another time. I've got to fill out this report on our mission."

"Whatever, I'm leaving," Sasuke says before turning on his heel and walking away.

Sakura calls out for Sasuke and runs towards him. "So Sasuke, why don't we go and do something more personal? You know, to improve our teamwork and all."

"I swear you're just as bad as Naruto," Sasuke responds. "Instead of flirting, you should go practice your jutsu. Let's face it. You're worst than Naruto."

I narrow my eyes at Sasuke and glare at him. "You're an asshole sometimes, you know that?!" All heads snapped at me. "You're so damn full of yourself most of the time and you don't know how to act because of it. And all that pride is no good for you. So how about you humble yourself, okay?"

Sasuke glared angrily at me, but I stood my ground and glared right back at him. "I'll take your silence as a yes." I turned around and walked the opposite direction of him. While walking away, I see a box designed as a 'rock' moving towards Naruto. I just mind my own business and continue walking.

While walking, I see two unfamiliar people ahead of me. Then I hear several foot steps running towards me. I turn around and see Naruto and three smaller children running away from Sakura. Oh boy.

I watched them run past me and one of the smaller boys bumped into one of the people I saw ahead of me. It was a guy, probably around our age with purple marks on his face in a black jumpsuit. Next to him was a blonde girl in a white dress.
