The ship ride wasn't that long. Or at least I don't think it was. I slept through the entire thing and woke up when the ship finally docked. So who even knows how long the ride was. I'm not even sure what time it is.

"Welcome to Yuko Island!" a loud voice boomed. "All passengers must exit the ship at this time!"

I sat up from the bed and rubbed my eyes. I let out a long yawn while I stretched. Nyla was already awake and sitting on the window sill staring at the outside. "Good morning, Nyla," I said as I finally got up. I held my hand up a few inches from my mouth and breathed heavily into my hand. My absolutely terrible smelling breath made me scrinch up my nose and tilt my head back. I also lifed my right arm up to sniff my armpits, and that too, did not smell like a flowery-garden.

"Wow. I am disgusting." I've been campingout in the woods with no place to shower or brush my teeth. I guess I shouldn't be surprised I smell like this. I walked into the bathroom in the room, searching for anything I could use to get myself cleaned up. "Ugh, nothing?! Shouldn't these ships have fancy soaps and stuff in their bathrooms?"

I walked out, disappointed and still smelly. I got all of my things in one place to place them into the bag Aiko gave me. The the locked chest I stole from the pimp caught my attention. I let out a deep sigh. Carrying that thing around will be hell. It will also draw people's attention, too. Which is something I definitely don't need.

Then I remembered one of the spells I read about in my book. One that allows you to shrink objects for a duration of time to make traveling much easier. I skipped over to the chest and placed both hands on it. I recited the incantation as best as I could, but nothing happened.

"Okay, okay, one more time," I say to myself. I repeated the incantation again, better this time, and the chest shrunk to the size a regular jewelry box. "Success!"

I carried the shrunken chest to the bag and placed it in there. Multiple beads of sweat fell from my forehead. I raised my forearm to my forehead to wipe it off. "I don't think a black cloak is suited for this hot weather." I folded the laced black cloak Diona gave me and neatly put it on top of my things. But I left the black glasses out and placed them onto my face. "Still have to be a little cautious about my identity."

I threw the bag over my shoulder, took Nyla down from the window sill and placed her on the floor. I was about to walk out of the room until I realized that I left the red katana leaning against the wall. I turned backaround and placed it on my back. I then left the room, closing the door behind me, then walked onto the upper deck, Nyla right by my feet. Even with my glasses on, the powerful sun rays made me squint as soon as I stepped foot on Yuko island.

Through the squinted eyes I saw an extremely colorful and cheerful island. The rooves of every bulding was a different color. They were every color imaginable. Even the people dressed colorfully. The women wore beautiful tube tops with matching flowing skirts. Some in beautiful sundresses, or halter tops, and skirts and shorts. The men wore vibrant colors as well, wearing sleeveless tops, fishnet shirts, and shorts. I looked around and I couldn't spot a single frown on any of the islanders' faces.

I smiled brightly at all the islanders as Nyla and I walked around. I kept an eye on shops that I would need to go to so I could settle onto the island, like clothing shops, furniture places, restaraunts, etc.. Nyla suddenly stopped in her tracks and turned her head towards an alley before dashing towards it.

"Nyla!" I call out before chasing after her. She made a sharp right turn at the end of the alley. I clutched my bag and followed her path, but I ran into something sturdy and fell onto my back. I sat up from the ground and found myself looking at someone's extremely musclular calves. My eyes trailed upwards and saw a tall, menacing man staring down at me. His hood dark brown eyes stared into mine. The silver strands in his long, glossy brown hair was illuminated by the sun light. He stood over me with his arms folded in front of him.
