The next morning, all the remaining candidates gathered to the correct spot, in front of a gate with a threatening looking forest behind. Of course, it's going to be named the Forest of Death. And of course, this is where we'll have our second portion of the exam. How nice.

"This place really gives me the heeby jeebies," I say, examine the forest. I could've sworn I just saw a giant centipede crawl on a tree.

"Well it should," says Anko. "They call it the Forest of Death. And soon enough, you'll find out why."

Naruto got into a funky pose and placed his hands on his hips. "Hmph. 'They call it the Forest of Death. And soon enough, you're gonna find out why.'" He mocked. I pressed my lips together to suppress my laughter. "Do your worst. You're not gonna safe me away!"

Anko just smirked. "Looks like we've got ourselves a tough guy." She then threw a kunai in Naruto's direction, nearly stabbing him in the face. If she aimed only a few centimeters to the left, Naruto would've been a goner. Anko disappeared from her original spot in front of the gates then behind Naruto.

She leaned into Naruto's ears and whispered something. Her fingers touched the blood dripping from Naruto's small cut, but stopped abruptly to take out another kunai and point it at the woman who crept up behind her. The new woman had a strangely long tongue, that held Anko's other kunai that she threw at Naruto.

What the hell is going on? And why is that lady's tongue so long?

"I was just returning your knife," the mystery lady says.

"Well thank you, grass ninja," Anko replies. I just stood there and watched the scene before me. Why is no one concerned about that lady's tongue? Or are they just used to things like this in this strange world?

Anko took the knife from the woman, and tongue lady just reeled her taking tongue back into her mouth. I am perplexed. Seriously, if this is all a wild dream, I would like to wake up. Right now.

The strange lady started to walk away. She was walking towards me to get to her team I presume, so I just step out of the way a little. I'm trying to avoid her as much as possible. But instead of just walking past me, she catches me eye and doesn't stop staring into them until she walks past me. Chills ran through my entire body after she left. Something about her just seems so off. It's creepy.

Anko returned back to her spot in front of the gates. "Now before we let you into this forest, you'll have to sign this consent form," she announced. She held up a stack of papers in her hand. "All of you will have to read this over and then sign it."

"What for?" Naruto questioned.

"Some of you may not come back from this. And I have to get your consent to that risk. Otherwise, it will be my responsibility. Now, I'll explain what you'll be doing in this test."

Anko explained the rules as Naruto passed out the consent forms. It's basically a survival test, where we'll have to fight each other to obtain both a heavens and earth scroll. So after this test is done, half of the teams will make it, and the other half won't. Each team will get only one of those scrolls, and will have to fight to get the other. To pass, all team members must make it to the tower alive, and with both scrolls. And we have five days to do it. We don't only have other people to worry about, but there man eating beasts and poisonous plants we have to look out for. Is that wonderful?

We were sent off to look over our consent forms and to later hand them in to get our scrolls. I walked around with the paper in my hand, pretending I knew what it says. This might be the most embarrassing thing I'll ever have to do, but I'm gonna have to ask my teammates to help me read this consent form before I sign it and sell my soul to the devil without me even knowing.
