-Tyler-

It had been one whole month since Josh moved in, and it sure has been one amazing month. I haven't seen Ian at all since the day he came over for a picture and got out of hand, he never even texted me for pictures. Part of me was slightly bummed for some reason but I ignored that part. Now I was sitting all alone at the apartment bored out of my mind. Josh was working, he told me I wasn't aloud to stay after anymore. I was ok with that but I get kind of lonely waiting for him. I jumped when I heard my phone buzz, I was hoping it was Josh.

Ian: hey daisy

My face etched with disgust even though there were a few butterflies in my stomach.

Tyler: what do you need

Ian: I was wondering if you wanted to get a drink

Tyler: when

Ian: now

Before I had a chance to reply I heard a loud knock on my door, I guess I had no choice. I might as well tell Josh what I'm doing...or–

Tyler: going to run some errands, be back later

Josh: have fun

I could just lie. Part of me felt bad for leaving with Ian but part of me just wanted to be with him every second of the day. I opened the door excitedly, grinning up at a quite happy Ian.

"Well, why don't we go?" He grinned and my heart melted, he hasn't looked at me like that in forever.

I followed him out onto the sidewalk and we headed down to wherever he was taking me.

-Josh-

Finally I had finished my work and could finally go home. I said my goodbyes to everyone and headed off. When I arrived I was greeted by quiet emptiness, I remembered that Tyler said he had to run errands and would be back later so I understood. I waited for hours when finally my phone rang.

"Tyler?"

Tyler's sweet laughter filled my ear, it was bubbly.

"Hi Joshie," he giggled.

Something didn't seem right, he was a little off.

"Tyler where are y-" I was cut off by a loud rattling noise and then the line cutting off.

I sighed and set my phone down on the counter. I wanted a few more hours before I heard the door handle move and Tyler stumbled in, it looked like he was going to fall.

"Hi Joshie!" He beamed, making his way towards me.

I got up and smiled, until I noticed the hickeys on his neck, frowning.

"I see you did more than errands."

"Oh yeah, I lied to you!" He giggled like a toddler.

"I see you had...fun," my face crossed with realization.

"Don't tell me you we're with Ian-Tyler what the fuck? I thought you were over him–it's been a whole month!" I sounded disappointed, and I was.

"Aw come on Josh, it was just a few drinks s'all." He stumbled toward me.

"It was fun, he kept givin' me drinks and I was havin' a grand ol time." He grinned drunkenly.

"And then he took me into the bathroom and we played fire truck! S'a very fun game–you shou-you should try it." He hiccuped.

I scrunched my nose out of disgust, I knew what that game was, it disgusted me to think Ian was the one to play it. I was startled when I felt warm hands grab mine and swing me around. Tyler held on to my hands and swung my arms about, stepping side to side and back and forth. I couldn't help but crack a smile when he smiled at me and giggled. I danced along with him, twirling him around and holding him steady. I was really enjoying it until I went to step forward and Tyler tripped on my foot, causing me to fall forward. He tripped and fell onto the floor in a thud, I crashed on top of him and grunted. I could hear him gasp, I lifted my head up to see why.

It was like everything was in slow motion, when I turned my head his lips just barely grazed mine. My face was so close to his that I could feel his breath on my skin, it smelled of cherry liquor. His eyes looked into mine though unfocused, they were a crisp chocolate brown and sparkled with joy. His cheeks were dusted a light rouge as a blush crept up, dimples cratered them. His lips looked soft and were a rosy pink, they curved up to form a bright smile. I felt my own face getting hot. His giggle only made it worse.

"Joshie you're heavy," I cleared my throat quietly and stood up.

I noticed Tyler had a little...trouble getting up so I lifted him up bridal style. He squealed and giggled, kicking lightly like a little boy. He wasn't that heavy at all, I could carry him on my shoulder all day. It was late and I caught him yawning like a little baby out the corner of my eye, rubbing his eyes with his fists and them drunkenly rubbing his face. Carefully I laid him down in his bed and covered him with the blanket, pushing my boundary and placing a light kiss atop his forehead. He yawned and cuddled up under the blanket, my heart clenched in my chest.  Slowly I turned the light off and climbed in on my side.

"G'night Joshie." He slurred, his voice was so small and fragile.

"Goodnight Ty."

-

I had gotten a couple hours of sleep a confused voice woke me up.

"J-Josh?" I looked over in Tyler's direction.

"Can you please hold me," his words were still a little slurred but he was starting to sober up.

"Yes it's ok," I spoke softly.

Immediately he scooted towards me, I turned on my side towards him. He scooted into my arms and I embraced him, he was warm. I wonder why he always wants me to hold him, he's not always scared every time. It made me question a lot of things.

I waited forever, Tyler had fallen asleep long ago but for some reason I just couldn't get to sleep again. I was startled when I felt Tyler move and lay on his back, eyes still closed. I turned and laid on my back too because laying on my side hurt. Few minutes later it was pure silence again. It caught me off guard when I felt a small warm hand slip into mine, of course Tyler's. He intertwined his fingers with mine and I honestly thought I was dreaming. His hand was so well-small and warm and just ah. It fit so perfectly in mine, like a puzzle piece. I can settle this now, today so far has been the best day. Cant wait for another to replace it–let me stop fantasizing. He probably doesn't even like me. He's probably dreaming about Ian and thinks I'm Ian. Bleh.
