Chapter Five

Jungkook's POV

(Months Later)
Months have passed and I am having this weird feeling whenever I see Jae Eun. What could this be? Do I have a crush on her? Do I like her? I don't know, Im soo confuse! I didn't tell anyone about this.

I wasn't even sure about this or am I? I always caught myself staring at her in class, and I look away whenever she looks at me. I always go to class early so that I could look at her walk into the classroom. Weird right?

 
I was sitting in my seat spacing out when the teacher called me "Jungkook-shi, did you understand what I said?" I could feel eyes on me so I just nodded pretending that I heard what she said. The teacher just sigh and doubted that I was even listening to him. I also saw Jae Eun shaking her head. I sigh.

Jae Eun's POV

  It was finally lunch!! Ughhh I'm soo hungry!! Can't wait to eat..

The twins went out the classroom in a rush. Of course they will going to meet the love of their life. I sigh, I guess I'm going to the cafeteria with Jin and Yoongi.

I made my way to the cafeteria leaving Jungkook in the classroom. Yoongi and Jin waved their hands at me and saw them sitting at the very back of the cafeteria, which was a bit spacious. "Oh thank god you're finally here! We're soo hungry, save this spot okay? We're buying lunch at the mall will be back quickly" Jin said in a rush.

Before I could even speak, they were gone in a flash! So I just sat there waiting for them playing with my phone. Gosh, I look like a loner. I was startled when someone suddenly sat beside me.

Jungkook's POV

  I saw Jae Eun walked out of the classroom, aish this girl didn't even bother to wait for me. I was about to call her name, but I hesitated.

I followed her quietly, she was making her way to the cafeteria, I was further behind her. I saw her walking towards Yoongi and Jin, I couldn't hear what they were saying, the cafeteria is too noisy.

I noticed she was a bit annoyed and sat down alone on one of the table.  This was my chance, I walked towards the table and silently sat beside her. She was startled at my sudden appearance "did I scare you?" I spoke "Wasn't it obvious?" She fired back at me.

I stayed silent thinking what I should say next. "Soo where's Yoongi and Jin?" She put her phone down "they went to the mall to buy some food... I bet they're gonna take long since the line up is long" I took my lunch box that my mom made for me. "Here, wanna eat?" I shared my lunch with her.

She grabbed the chopsticks and started eating. Her face lit up as she was savouring the food, "waaa.. this is soo goodd!!" She exclaimed "who made these??" She asked.. I was satisfied that I made her smile with my mom's cooking. "My mom, she made it for me" she nodded.. she kept eating and stopped... "oh! Mianhe, here eat.." she gave me the chopsticks and gladly took it.

We shared the food until the two guys were back.. "well that was quick!" She sarcastically said to the two boys in front of us... Yoongi and Jin looked at each other and then back to us, "what?" I asked, they just shake their head that it was nothing. "sorryyyy the line was long.. heheh" they acted cute in front of her. She just sat there with an annoying face again.

POV

  Winter has finally come, it was almost Jae Eun's birthday, the snow fell heavily and the roads were getting slippery.  Jungkook and Jae Eun became close friends, or more like a Best friend. Jungkook would always walk her home, hang out with her after school and just normal best friends would do. But Jungkook feels a bit more than that though.

Jae Eun haven't heard about Jin Ae in a long time, and the twins... well they were still busy with their boyfriends. Yoongi and Jin goes with their classmates and hang out. But they still see each other after school or in the cafeteria. But right now it was just her and Jungkook.

They sat on the cafeteria table, "When's your birthday" Jungkook suddenly asked her "December 23rd 1997" she gave him the complete date. "and you?" "Mine? Its on the 1st of September 1997" he replied "ohhh so you're a bit older than me" she said and nodded.

 
After class was over Jae Eun had to stay for a group project. Jimin went with his classmates at the internet café. "Yooww Kook!" Shouted V as he was catching up to Jungkook walking out of the school gate. "Wassupp hyung!" They high five each other.

"I heard something very shocking..." V started.. "hmmm what is it?" Jungkook tilted his head confused. "Wellll...." V was hesitant to say the news. "Hyung! Just say it!" "JaeEunHasacrushonJimin" V quickly said that it was Hard for Jungkook to sync in at first.

"WHAT?!" Jungkook stopped walking and turned to V.. "I said Jae Eun Has-" V was interrupted "I heard what you said!" Jungkook angrily stated V just stood there shocked at the boy's behaviour... "but is that true? Where'd you hear that? Who said it? Maybe it was just a rumour.. right?" Jungkook felt like the world has fallen and he felt his knees go weak and giving up on him anytime soon.

"I accidentally heard her talk about it with the twins on the roof top" V explained.

(V's POV- the rooftop)
I decided to go to the rooftop and skip one class, that class is so boring that I could sleep instead.

I laid down on one of the benches behind the bushes, I heard the rooftop door opened. Aish, these people..... I don't like people interrupting my sleep.

I heard female voices, so annoying, all I want is my sleep....

"Why are we here?" One girl asked, "I have something to tell you" hhmmm, this sounds interesting. I don't mean to eaves drop but they're too loud. Not my fault.

"Okayyyyy..... What is it?" Another girl spoke, just hiw many if them are here? I wanna sit up and look but they might see me, so I stayed down.

"You seee... I have a crush on someone" oooohhhhhh.....
I kept my eyes close still trying to sleep "OMG JAE!! Really?! Who??"

I immediately opened my eyes.... *Jae?*, The Jae that I know? cause I only know one Jae.... woaahhhh

"It's Jimin". Holyy shtt! I opened my mouth a bit surprise "what? Omg Jae" that must be the twins she's with.

I heard the bell rang, the rooftop door opened and closes. Means they're already gone.
I immediately sat up from the bench. I shouldn't  tell anyone, maybe Kook?

-V's FLASHBACK ENDS-

V looked at Jungkook, he held his shoulder "Kook, is you good bro?" He asked.. Jungkook shook the thought away and lied.. "yeahh, I'm fine.." they continued walking home, Jungkook was quiet on their way.

"Are you sure you're okay?" V assured.. "yes.. yes I'm fine" he replied annoyingly. "Why are you so annoyed,.... sulma.... Do you like her??" V gasped Jungkook just sigh and didn't answer. "But I don't think she likes like him Kook, maybe it's just a crush... don't be sad about it." V comforted his bestfriend.

Jungkook finally arrived at home, surprisingly her mom and dad were home early. "Hey your finally home, Im cooking dinner, so wash up and I'll call you when its done." Her mom said "yes eomma.."
"is something wrong?" His dad noticed his son, he looked like they beat the life out of him. "No I'm just tired" he lied. He went straight to his room and washed up, he sat on his study table and still thinking about what V said.
