Chapter Six

POV

Jungkook didn't let that thought of Jae Eun having a crush on someone else' bother him. It was two days before Jae Eun's Birthday. After he had dinner with his family he went upstairs and grab his phone. He dialled a familiar number, Jae Eun's.. he waited for her to pick up and finally she did.

"Yeoboseo?" Jae Eun spoke. "Hey Jae its me" Jungkook was waiting for her to answer. "Whats up kookie?"...
"What are you doing on your birthday?" It was quiet on the other side of the line..
"well I'm going somewhere with Jin Ae's family for a Christmas party, they said since it's gonna be my birthday anyways, we'll just celebrate there." Jae Eun explained. "Ohh I see.. you're mom's not coming?" He asked... Jae Eun's mom knows about Jungkook and Jae Eun being bestfriends, Jae Eun assured her that there's nothing more going on between them.
"No, just me, why'd you ask?"
"Nothing.... Alright well, goodnight Jae"
"goodnight Kookie" and he hung up leaving a confuse Jae Eun, She on the other side just shrugged her shoulders.

He was a bit sad since they can't hang out on her birthday, he was going to ask her to hang out before then but she's going somewhere. So thats a bummer... Jungkook and his parents always goes out to celebrate Christmas, so he will be gone by Jae Eun's birthday. A thought suddenly came to his mind, he quickly grab his phone and texted Taehyung...

Kook: hyung! Can you come to Myeongdong with me after school?
Tae-hyung: sure why?

Kook: I'm planning to give Jae a gift

Tae-hyung: okayy! You better have a nice gift to give her

Kook: well I haven't thought about anything yet.. help ME??

Tae-hyung: tsk.. whatever...

He threw his phone on the bed and lay down thinking of what he should get her... as he was thinking he fell asleep..

Jungkook's POV

  I heard my alarm go off and I lazily pressed it to shut the alarm and walked my way to the bathroom. I went to get ready and as I remembered, today, I'm going to buy Jae Eun a present.

I excitedly went to the kitchen to eat breakfast. "What are you so happy about?" Asked mom "nothing.."
"you sure? Is it a girl?" My mom questioned "no mom, really it's nothing" I told her so she won't ask any more questions. "Alright then if you say so... ohh appa and I will be leaving first okay? Don't forget to lock the doors.. bye honey.." she kissed my forehead and she headed out of the house.

I went to class excitedly and smiled as I saw Jae already sitting on her seat.. "hey Jae" I greeted her, I raised my hand for a high five "wassup kookie" she said while she high five me.. "sup Hei-ran" I greeted and she smiled and she waved at me. "You look happy...."she said...  It came out as a statement instead of a question..
"I just woke up on the right side of the bed" I said smiling widely...
"oookaayyy... if you say soo..." I walked to my seat, I was excited to buy her a gift.. should I get a teddy bear? A jewelry? A book? Since I see her read sometimes.. maybe a bracelet?... hmm that doesn't sound bad.. I could get us a matching bracelet. Alright, a bracelet it is.

    I was in a good mood to listen to the teacher today, cant wait for this class to be over....

Jae Eun's POV

The class finally ended and it was time to go hommee! "Hey twins what are you doing today?" I asked.. "well we're on a double date.." they answered with smiles on their faces... I just nodded and packed my stuff.. hmm.. what about kookie... I turned around at kookie who's packing his bag..

"hey Kookie, wanna hang out?" He looked at me with sad eyes
"ah, mian Jae, I'm hanging with V hyung today.. maybe next time?" I just nodded.. welpp everyone's busy today, I'll just go to my mom's café then and help.

I walked with the twins along with Hoseok and Namjoon. "Guys are you sure you know which one is your girlfriend?" I whispered at them jokingly... they just stared at me like I'm crazy.. "of course we do" they told me in unison.. I held both of my hands indicating I surrender..

we seperated ways and I went to my mom's café, I helped her a little bit before she told me go home "are you sure you okay?" I worriedly asked her..
"yes, I'm okay, I have two workers with me today so I'll be fine.." she smiled to assure me. "Alright I'm going"
"okay be careful.."
"Yes mom I will..." we hugged before I left the café.

I walked home alone, good thing there are cars passing by or it would be really scary. I got home, did some homework, took a shower and laid on my bed forgetting to eat dinner.

Jungkook's POV

   "Hyung! Hurry up! You're so slow!" I shouted at V hyung
"alright I'm coming..." he said shaking his head.

We bus our way to Myeongdong when hyung suddenly broke the silence.. "so.. what are you getting her?"
"Well I was planning to get a matching bracelets... what do you think?" I asked in anticipation... "well that's.... corny.." he answered "what.. I think its nice.. she'll like it.." I defended.. suddenly hyung suggested something "what about a teddy bear?"
"That's boring, maybe I'll get her that and the bracelet" I excitedly said.. V hyung just rolled his eyes.

 
We finally arrived at Myeongdong searching for some bracelet and a teddy bear. As we were going around the place that seems like forever, I finally found something.

I went to the store that sells bracelets and asked the ahjushi for a pair... while he was getting the bracelet he spoke "Is this for you and you're girlfriend?" I didn't answer, I just smiled at him while V hyung was somewhere looking around.

"Hyung! I just need to find a teddy bear"
"okayy lets goo.." we were looking around and after a while of walking, we finally bought the teddy and went home. Cant wait to give this to her..

 
I arrived home and wrapped the gifts nicely, I hope she'll like them, I'll go to her house tomorrow and give it to her before she leaves.

I was exhausted from all that walking, I laid on my bed and felt my eyes slowly closing... and I suddenly opened my eyes. Shit! I forgot to shower!!
