Chapter Fourteen

(Skipped to their first anniversary)

POV

Today is Jungkook and Jae's First anniversary, Jungkook planned on surprising Jae at his house. He told his parents that he'll be using the house for the event, he'll invite the members to help him surprise Jae.

It was okay for his parents since they always goes home late anyways.

Bangtan and the twins is at his house preparing for the event later in the evening, they put balloons in the ceiling with their picture hanging on the string.

The balloons are in blue, it's Jae favourite colour. They put candles and other things to make it more romantic, they bought a cake and they will order food later.

Before they will surprise her, Jae and Jungkook will go on a romantic date first, just the two of them. After spending some time together they will go to Jungkook's house for the surprise

Jungkook will text the members if they're on their way home and that's when they order the food. So it won't get cold while waiting for them.

Jae's POV

Where the heck is Jungkook, he hasn't been texting me all day.

I tried calling him either but he's not answering. It's our anniversary today, has he forgotten about it? No way, there's no way he did.

I tried calling him again, this time he finally answered, "hey, babe happy 1st anniversary to us" I thought he forgot, what is he so busy about that he didn't call earlier.

"I thought you forgot, I was going to get mad" I smiled "Happy anniversary too loves. What are you so busy about?" I was waiting for an answer

"I uhh, I'm preparing for tonight, you haven't forgotten about our date later have you?" Right, we have a date later. I smiled again "no, of course not, I can't wait babe"
"me too, i'm very excited and looking forward to this."
"Alright then, I'm going to get ready soon, I love you babe, see you later"
"I love you too, see you later, I'll pick you up at 7" we hung up.

I got up from the couch and went to my room to take a shower and get ready, my heart is already beating so fast.

I asked the twins if I could change at their house, since I can't really show my mom wearing a semi-formal dress. She'll ask me so many questions, and I don't think I can answer them.

It is now 6pm, I went to the twins' house to change, good thing their parents wasn't home yet. They will going to be intrigued as why I'm changing here instead of our house.

I changed and I went to the living room where the twins are waiting "wow Jae, you look amazing, as always, congratulations on your anniversary" I smiled and hugged them both

"thank you guys, I'm excited and nervous at the same time" we broke the hug. Now all I have to do is wait for Jungkook.

Jungkook's POV

Before I pick up Jae, I'm going to the restaurant first. I'm going to ask a favour if I could get a cake that says 'happy 1st anniversary in it'.

Since we're not in the legal age yet, we can't drink wine, maybe juice is fine. I bought a couple ring for us, a ring that we will be wearing until the day we get married.

I arrived at the restaurant and talked to whoever is charge, i don't care if it's expensive as long as it's for Jae.

It was time to pick up Jae, I called a taxi and went to the twins house. The twins had texted me that Jae got ready at their house, and she's there waiting for me.

I arrived at their house and knocked on the door, the twins opened it. Behind them was my beautiful girlfriend.

No matter how she looks, she's still beautiful in my eyes.

I offered my arm and she took it gladly, we walk to the taxi "bye Jae have fun!!" The twins said, Jae waved at them with a smile on her face.

My hands are sweating with nervousness, I hope everything goes well tonight.

POV

Jungkook and Jae arrived at the restaurant where they will be celebrating their anniversary.

It was inside Namsan Tower, on the very top where they could see the whole city. Jae was awed by this, the waiter led them to their seat.

It was near the window which has the best view, Jae's eye's sparkled by what she's seeing "woah, this is so beautiful, Thank you babe" Jae smile and so is Jungkook.

The waiter handed them the menu, water and some fancy juice. Jae scanned the menu and looked a bit surprised "hey babe, don't you think it's a bit expensive?" She asked worriedly

"It's my treat, you don't have to worry about anything. I'll take care of it" Jungkook assured her.
"but—" she was cut off by Jungkook
"shhh, no buts"

So they ordered their food, they chatted while eating, enjoying the food and the view "this is amazing babe, I just want to say thank you so much for doing this, I'm so lucky to have someone like you."

Jungkook put is utensils down and held Jae's hand

"I just want to make you happy Babe, despite all of this, you... hiding our relationship from your parents. We made it, we made it this long and I'm so proud of us. I know sometimes we argue but at the end of the day we make up. I'm lucky to have you too loves. Happy 1st anniversary I love you" he smile at him

"I love you too" she replied.

The waiter handed them the dessert, two piece of sliced cake, one for Jungkook and one for Jae.

Jae has the plate that say '1st anniversary' to it. Jae smiled, she took a picture of it and started eating.

Jungkook's POV

It's time for me to give the couple rings, my hands are sweating and my heart is beating so fast. I can do this!

I cleared my throat and drank some water as it's making me thirsty. "Babe" I called she looked at me, waiting for me to say something

I pulled a small box from my pocket that has the rings on it "I wanted to give you this" I opened the box, I saw Jae's eyes got teary

"one for me and one for you, a promise ring. A Promise that we will stay together forever, and no matter what happenes we'll stay strong. I want to wear this ring until the day we get married, to prove our love for one another."

It's a relief that I didn't stutter, I gently held Jae's left hand and slid the ring on her middle finger. She also put the ring on me.

She smiled at me, eyes still teary "thank you so much babe, you've done so much for me today" she stood up and hugged me.

We enjoyed our time, we took a lot of pictures to save our memories together. There's more coming Jae, wait a little later.
