Chapter- Forty

Jae Eun's POV

I have so many questions right now, I don't who that man was, and why is my brother so mad at him.

"Oppa! What is going on?! I've been asking and no ones answering me! Who is he?!" He was trying to calm himself down

"I think its time" I just looked at him confuse,
"time for what?" My brother let a heavy sigh
"sit down Jae"

I sat down on his bed and he was sitting down on his computer chair.
"That man earlier at our door....." he hesitated
"He was...... our dad" he said looking away form me, I didn't know how to feel about this or how to react.

"Dad? He's our dad?" He nodded
"why don't I recognize his face, and why is he back? Mom told me he left us long time ago" anger rushed all over me, thinking he left us.

"You were still very little when he left us, I don't know where he went and who knows what he was doing" unbelievable, and now he has the guts to comeback. I don't know what's wrong with my mom, letting him in when he's not welcome.

I stood up from my brothers bed "where are you going?" He asked
"i'm just going to sit at the stairs, lets hear what he has to say" my brother followed me and we silently sat down at the staircase eaves dropping at their conversation.

POV

Ji Yeon and her ex husband was talking at the counter table, unaware that their children was listening to them.

"How are you Ji Yeon?" He asked
"I'm okay, we're all doing okay" they were silent for a moment before he spoke again

"Listen to me Ji Yeon, I'm so sorry for leaving you, I shouldn't have done that, I was stupid. The reason why I left is that, I needed to look for a job so I could feed my family. I waited and suffered alone, to make money for our future. But I accidentaly had an affair with another woman."

Ji Yeon's tears roll down her face, she couldn't believe what she's hearing.
"Listen to me Ji Yeon, it was an accident, I was drunk at that time, please believe me. I didn't want this to happen, I love you ji Yeon, only you."

She didn't really knew the reason why he left
"is that all? Is there something else?" Yong-jin was silent for a moment,
"we had uhh... a baby, she's 2 years-old now" Ji yeon's tears keeps falling, he may not left for another woman, but he made that mistake.

"I think you should go Yong-jin, I need to think about this" Yong-jin beg for forgiveness but Ji yeon didn't listen, she was too hurt, "I said go!!"
Jinyoung and Jae ran down the stairs hugging their mother "I think you should go" Jinyoung said with anger in his eyes.

POV

Ji Yeon was still in shock after eveything had happen from yesterday, her ex-husbands words keeps ringing through her mind.

Ji Yeon was sitting on the living room, Jae came to check if she was okay. "Mom, please eat something ok?" Jae said "you can't be like this mom, you have us. Who cares about him" Jae's tears were falling seeing her mom's sadness

"but I still love your dad Jae, I really do. I want us to be a whole family again, he finally came back" Jae scoff at his mom's words
"after what he'd done? Really mom?"
"Let's give him a chance, please Jae" Jae walked out and went to her room mad at her mother.

(Three week later)

Ji Yeon's pov

It's been three weeks since Yong-jin came, I didn't contact him, I was hurt. I didn't want him to come back to our lives again, I'm being stupid and wants to complete our family again.
