Chapter Twenty-Nine

Jae Eun's POV
I scoffed when Jungkook invited Lisa, I mean I don't mind her sitting with us.

We could be friends actually, but she annoys me that she calls Jungkook 'oppa'. Is she even younger than him? We're all the same age, but how many months is their gap?

I shake my head getting away the thoughts. I walked silently beside the twins, well this is awkward, I cleared my throat "how are you doing Lisa? Finals are coming, you doing okay?" I ask to get rid of the awkwardness

"I'm having a hard with some math problems, but I'm okay now Jungkook has been teaching me" she replied smiling. I smiled back but I'm burning inside, I glared at Jungkook.

Calm yourself Jae it's okay, calm down.

"That's good then, Jungkook is very good at math. Why don't you tutor him babe?"

Jungkook looked at me surprised "huh? Tutor? Her?" He asked "I mean, I could just teach her during class time, no need for after class tutoring" Jungkook said I nodded at his answer, good.

Jungkook's POV
Eeyy why is she being like this, is she jealous because of Lisa? She's not the jealous type though, hmmm.

We arrived at the cafeteria, the other members are sitting there already.

When we got closer to them, their faces looked confuse. They looked at me and then Lisa, ahhhh it's probably her.

"Hey guys!" I said and sat down "Lisa sit, you've met them right?" She nodded, they said hi to each other. "Do you have food?" I asked Lisa "well I have bread with me" she opened her bag and pulled out a bread, "that's small, are going to be full with just that?"

She smiled and nodded "aigoo, share food with us, we always share each others food, you can do that too."

I stood up to get another chopsticks, I came back and gave it to Lisa. The other members and the girls were just looking at each other, eating quietly.

The guys were awkwardly smiling at one another while sharing their foods. It doesn't hurt to be friendly, right? It's okay to be friendly, I just hope Lisa doesn't take it the wrong way.

We just continued eating, chatting and we kinda had fun talking to Lisa, she wasn't that bad. She's actually a good company.

Lisa's POV
Jungkook is such a kind person, he even included me to their group. Also a gentleman, it was nice of him to let me share with their food. I don't mind sharing, I'm friends with them now. I'm not that kind of person who'll get disgusted because of sharing food.

During lunch we just chat, talk about random things, laugh about random things; it was really fun talking to them. Jungkook have such a great friends, too bad his taken, all I could do is look at him and just cherish the moment sitting beside him in class.

Why do I like someone who has a girlfriend? I'm so stupid.

POV
School is now over and they rushed to go home, Jungkook and the girls waited for the others to come outside the school gate. "Lisa you're waiting for someone?" Jae asked "yeah, waiting for my pick up" Jae nodded.

A car pulled in front of them "that's my ride, ill see you guys tomorrow" Lisa waved at them "bye!" They all said in unison, the rest of the members finally came "what took you so long?" Jungkook complained
"sorry!"
"Let's just go" Hei-ran said.

They are walking and walking but Jae doesn't even know where they're going "hold up you guys!" Jae stopped and so is everyone else, they stared at her confuse "babe are you okay? Whats wrong?" Jungkook asked worriedly.

"Where are we going?" She asked, they sigh out of relief "I thought something happened" Yoongi stated "we're going to practice" Hoseok said
"then why am I even going with you guys?"

The others doesn't know how to answer "why? You don't want to spend time with me hm?" Jungkook put his shoulder around Jae and acted cute "eeyyy, get a room you guys" they complained

The members walked ahead of Jungkook and Jae. "Just come with us, you're so good at dancing, you can learn our choreo too." Jae grabbed her phone and texted her mom that she'll be at dance practice.

Jae ended up going, walking hand in hand with Jungkook, it's okay since it's far from their neighbourhood anyways.

"hey babe, are you jealous of Lisa?" Jungkook suddenly asked, Jae just looked at him. "No, not really why?" Jungkook shake his head "nothing, just asking. You always looks annoyed when Lisa is with us." You just shrug "don't worry loves, I'm all yours and no one can take me away from you okay?" He kissed Jae's head. "Better be" she whispered but Jungkook still heard it and he just smiled.

Jungkook's POV
We just finished practicing, and we are now sitting on the floor "oh right! Jae your 18th birthday is in a week and a half, what are you planning to do?" Hei-ryung asked

"well, I'll invite you guys, my mom wants a party, with 18th roses, 18th candles and all that stuff. She's planning to buy a 3 layer cake, I mean I could just have a normal party. You know?" I sighed

"oh come on, this is once in a life time babe. Your mom wants to see you in a beautiful dress, you'll be a grown up woman. Come here" I pulled her in a hug "you're not gonna be there anyways" she whispered, I heard what she said.

The other members was trying to distract themselves, they're cringing watching us. "Hey guys, do you wanna check this video out, it's really funny, let's watch it over there" Jin hyung said while the others nod and followed him. Hyung has a great sense, thanks.

Since it's her debut I'm planning to miss the family trip this year, I want to go to her birthday, it's very important that I'd be there. I'm her boyfriend after all , how can I miss this, my baby will be 18 soon.

I've already discussed this with my parents, they were disappointed at first but they said it's okay. They understand, they don't want me to miss her birthday.

But I'm not telling Jae yet that I'm going, I want to surprise her. I already bought a gift for her, it's a necklace. It's a personalized necklace, it has the date where she said yes to me.

I let go of the hug "sorry loves, I promise to make it up to you" she smiled at me "It's okay, I understand. This is a tradition to your family" I just smiled but at the same time I felt bad. I wanna tell her but, it's a surprise.

We ordered food and started eating, these practice are making us hungry. It's like eating three times a day isn't enough, we need to have a night snack.

We chatted until it was time to go, as usual I walked Jae to her house. Since it's dark and it's dangerous outside, even though there's day light I still walk her home. The world is a dangerous place, you don't whats gonna happen.
