Chapter Twenty-Eight

POV

When the event was done, the performers changed into new fresh clothes "great job you guys!" One of the performer said.

They headed outside to meet their parents, their parents congratulated them for doing a good job.

"Is that Jungkook's parents?, lets say hi come on" Jae's mom dragged her to them. What if Jungkook's parents' mention them dating?

She was getting nervous as they were getting closer to them. "Omo, annyeonghaseyo. You must be this handsome boy's parents." Jae rolled her eyes annoyed at her mom. "I'm Ji yeon, nice to meet you" Jungkook's parents averted their eyes to Jae.

Jae shyly smiled and bowed. Jae looked at Jungkook signaling that she's worried about what her parents might say. "Oh, nice to meet you, we are Jungkook's Parents." She stretched her hand for a handshake, they gladly took it.

They chatted for a while, Jae feeling relieve that they didn't mention them dating yet. But it still got her worried. "Jungkook is very lucky to have—" "eomma" Jungkook interrupted, Jae's eyes widened knowing the Jungkook's mom's next word.

"Uhhmm, mom can we go home?" Jungkook find an excuse to avoid revealing their relationship to Jae's mom. "Why? I'm still enjoying talking to her." Jungkook needs another excuse so they could leave "uhh, Jae looked tired, and it's getting late" Jae looked at Jungkook, he got the 'don't worry, I got this' look.

"You're right, aigoo what a kind man. Worrying about other people" Jae's mom said. "Alright then, let's go. Nice meeting you again Ms.Park, see you around"
"you too"
"Bye Jae see you around"

Jungkook was planning to hug her but he didn't want to in front of her mom, so he just wave at her "bye Kookie" Jae smiled at him and also waved, they started splitting up going their on way.

Jungkook's POV

Whew! That was close, my mom just can't keep her mouth shut. "Eomma, I have something to say".

We were in the car "what is it?" She said while looking at dad with a curious look, dad just shrugged her shoulder. "Don't tell anyone Jae and I are dating. Please?" I pleaded "why not? You guys make such a great couple."

Jungkook smiled at her mom's statement. "Because her parents doesn't know we're dating" I said with a low voice but enough for her to hear it. "What?! How can she not know? I mean you've been dating for what now? A year? Almost 2?" mom was surprised at this news.

"Why cant you tell her? Hmm?" She asked "that is because" I hesitated not knowing what to say, "because what Jungkook?" My mom asked trying squeeze out an answer "nothing, Just please mom don't mention it to anyone especially her mom. Please" I heard her sighed "fine, I won't"

I leaned on the seat and looked at the window "thanks mom"

We are quiet inside the car, I was tired from todays event. Is Jae already home? She must be tired. I hope they got home safely. I closed my eyes to take a nap.

Jae Eun's POV

My mom's driving and she stop as the light turns red "Hey Jae" she spoke while looking at me through the rare view mirror, "what is it mom?" I asked scared of what her question or what she'll say.

"What was Jungkook's mom going to say earlier?" I knew we were going to have a conversation like this.

I heard my brother shift from his seat. "She uhmm.. she was going to say that..." I stopped, thinking what I should say next.

The green light appeared but I saw my mom still anticipating for my answer "that how lucky Jungkook was to have a friend like me" my mom just nodded, satisfied at my answer.

I looked at the window, I hope my mom don't get suspicious. Jungkook's probably salty right now cause I didn't hug him, I'm sorry my loves. I'll give you lots when we see each other again.

I decided to take a nap in the car since it's a bit traffic. Just imagine how many minutes I could sleep in the car before we could get home.

Lisa's POV

My mom and I went home immediately , too bad I couldn't introduce her to Jungkook.

I'm so lucky I get to sit with him in class. But their performance earlier though, what a killer.

Those smirks and the stare just killed me, probably also killed numbers of his fangirls in the auditorium. It would've been nice if those girls didn't dance with them, that would be so much better.

I went downstairs to grab something to drink "you're not sleeping yet?" I heard my mom spoke

I jumped out of surprise "oh, mom you scared me" I opened the fridge and grabbed a water bottle "why are you not sleeping? Is there something wrong?" I asked her. "No nothing, I can't sleep so I'm drinking tea" she assured me "okay then, I'm gonna go upstairs"

I can't wait to go school again, just to see him.

POV

~next day~

The students are sitting in their seats, complaining why there's school after the event.

The teachers explained that it's because it's almost the finals, and they have to study very well to able to pass.

They are doing self-study as usual and Lisa seems troubled about this problem in math. "Do you need help? It seems like you've been stuck in that question."

Lisa looked at Jungkook shyly and nodded.

Jungkook explained to Lisa about the equation, Lisa just looks at Jungkook admiring him. She's not even listening to Jungkook anymore "did you get what did I just say?"

Jungkook shuttered her thoughts "huh?" She looked confused and Jungkook just smiled. "You weren't listening were you?"
"Uhhh, hehehe" Lisa couldn't help her embarassment. "Aiggoo, I'm explaining it to you once again, so make sure you listen okay? So you'll pass the exam too" Jungkook explained it again to her, Lisa made sure that she listen this time.

The class ended quickly and they were on their way to the cafeteria, "Lisa do you want to come with us to the cafeteria?" Jungkook asked, Lisa smiled and nodded.

They met with the rest of Bangtan. Jae was kind of annoyed and didn't talk in their way to the cafeteria. When they arrived, there were confuse looks on the other members face.
