Chapter Eight

Jae Eun's POV

Well this sucks, kookie wont talk to me and I don't even know what's his problem, why cant he just talk to me! UGHH!!

I was annoyed and irritated by the fact that he's getting mad for no reason. I am so discombobulated by his actions.

I walked back and forth thinking of any possible reasons why he's mad and what I should do about it. Yoongi wanted me to come to the park with them, but I refused since he'll be there and it might just get awkward.

I couldn't take this anymore, I grab my phone from my bed and dialled his number, it rang a couple of times before he answered "hey..." I spoke first "hey.." his voice sounded somewhat cold but sad at the same time. "Is there a problem? Why are you mad at me? Did I do something?" I bombarded him with questions, I needed answers... "look Jae, Im really sorry... I was being a jerk. I really am sorry Jae" Jungkook spoke, I stayed quiet as I was still waiting for an answer...

Jungkook's POV

Jae called me and she asked me tons of questions and I just told her I was sorry, I went further from the other guys.

Jae was quiet probably waiting for my answer. "Jae listen, I'm sorry that I was ignoring you the whole day at school, I was just annoyed because we won't see each other that much during summer, and the fact that we can't hang out makes me irritated.." I explained waiting for her answer.

I heard her sigh "kookie we can always hang out, I know I have some plans during the vacation but, I'm still free most of the time. You can always message me and we can go. So please don't get mad at me.. hmm?" She said, I was smiling from ear to ear when I heard her say those words. I was happy, "okayy, I'm sorry again"
"you're not mad anymore? We're good?" There was a sound of relief in her voice, I bet she's smiling too.. "yes, we're good" after we talked I went back to the guys...

"something good happened?" Jin asked as soon as I sat down on the grass... "we're good now, we made up" I told him and they were teasing me "ohhh the first couples love quarrel....." I just stayed quiet, no we're not a couple YET..

(Summer vacation!)

  Their summer vacation started, Kook and Jae barely see each other and talk. Jae was having fun with her best friend, they were celebrating Jin Ae's birthday.

They camp near a lake, they swam, lit the camp fire, put some marshmallow on a stick and made smors. It was a fun day for them, but it was a miserable summer for kookie.

His parents were busy and he barely goes out with his friends.

Jungkook was having dinner with his family and just having conversations.

Jungkook's POV

   "Kookie, why do you look like that, are you okay?" mom asked "yes mom I'm okayy..." I answered lifelessly. We just continued eating, she didn't ask questions any further.

After dinner dad called me to have a chat with him. "Son come here" I walked towards my dad who was sitting at the counter. "What's been bothering you?" I shook my head "dad, you see..." I paused
"spill it kook!" I sigh
"I.... have a crush on this girl in my class, but she doesn't know about it appa, I think I'm going crazy! I just wanna talk to her every day, I wanna see her, you know?" I ranted, my dad just looked at me.
"Well son I think it's not having a "crush" anymore" he qouted.
"Then what is it? I asked "Kook, I think you love this girl" my dad stated.
"I... love her? Is that it? Is all I'm feeling is a sign that I love her?" My dad nodded while sipping on his coffee cup. Well shit!

Jae Eun's POV

  I haven't heard from Jungkook in a long time, I wonder how he's doing. I was about to text him, my phone rang and the screen read -Jin Ae-.. wrong timing you idiot!

"What?" I answered with annoyance. "Nothing, just wanna call" I rolled my eyes "you're so annoying" I said. "I know, you didn't know?" she answered and I just sigh.

So we just talk, after we hung up I went downstair's to grab some snacks. I cant believe I'm missing kookie, every time we hang out is always fun and I forget to look at my phone even for a second. That's how entertaining it is to be with Kookie, that's how much fun we're having.

I can't wait till we get back to class and see kookie!

(Next day)

It was Saturday and I don't have any plans to go somewhere, so I am planning to stay home and just chill. I heard my phone vibrated on my night table.

Kook: hey

A smile appeared on my face seeing kookie's message

Jae: wassup?

Not long after and he replied, Heol! That was quick

Kook: I was going to ask if you're free today?

Jae: yeahhh, I was actually planning on staying home today why?

I know that he wanted to hang out with me, but I still wanna ask.

Kook: wanna hang out?

I smiled even wider. I knew it!

I quickly jumped out of bed and grabbed my towel. Then I remembered I haven't even replied to him yet.

Jae: yeah sure okay, I'll just get ready.

I threw my phone on the bed and hurriedly got ready.
