Country romance now completed

Chapter 13

"Brianna!!! Have you seen Shane, or you're boyfriend??" I blink, racking my mind for where I had seen them last.

"kimber come with me I think I know where they are!" I pull my friends hand down the hall as we walk toward the school.

"They said they were going to get us here Bri, where are they?" She declares impatiently, kicking her foot against the wall over and over again, she is really driving me insane at this point, I guess you can say I don't have very much patience for stupid people!!

"Shut up, they said they would be here, and anyway, it isn't easy to do what they are doing." Her large blue eyes meet mine at this point, I knew she said that she had wanted to go, but they told us to stay and watch around the front of the school.

" you are no fun, you should have just let me go, I have a great aim and I could have hit all the top windows." She pouts, adjusting her leather jacket and high ponytail.

"If you complain one more time, I swear you will regret it," I stepped out of the drafty  old-school into the mid November air, the wind crashing against my face.

"Wait up," she called after, ducking as a car sped down the road, it's headlights flashing over us, but thank goodness nobody saw us!!!

"Close one, now keep it down, I'm going to go spy on the guys." I swept around the corner, making my way in the dim lit alleyway to find where they had gone.

Faint smell of a certain substance filled my nose, but I let it go already used to the smell as I tiptoed further into the dark and Alli.

"There you are beautiful," I whipped my head around, as a certain someone came bounding toward me, his eyes slightly bloodshot, and a subtle  slur to his voice.

My boyfriend.

I walked up to him, slinging my arms around him from behind, as he turned, meeting my face. "I thought I told you to stay in the front of the school, don't want nobody doing anything to my stuff."

His stuff, what the!!

"I was going to get you guys," he pulled me rather violently in front of him, as we made our way to the front of the school.

He tossed a bottle back, it bounced off the wall and shattered, the guy next to him laughing, but I just kept to myself, as we continued walking. "I got tha car dude, get the chicks and let's bounce."

"Chill dude, I already got one right here," his hand slid slowly down my back, and I fell into his touch, a lazy smile on my face.

"That's right Jack chill it," I thought I was so funny, as I tried to grab jacks bottle, but he yanked it away from me.

There is more for you in the car babe, but not here, girls get crazy when they are drunk."

I snorted, as the air caught up to me, "I want some now," He snickered, cocking  his head, and I hadn't even realized that his lips had connected with mine, but I was so used to that stuff by now, that I just shook it off, rounding the corner, as we were met with a sleeping form of my friend.

"She's a lightweight," jack muttered, scooping her up, I shrugged, she hadn't even drank anything.

"Pull the car around man, we gotta make a quick get away, the cops are on our tail, I can feel it."

I blinked, "so what, you got the weapons don't you!" I laughed lightly, falling into him in the process, jack joined in, walking down the sidewalk, my friend still in his arms.

"Now where were we," my boyfriend turned to me, and I grinned, as he showed me that lopsided grin, pushing me hard up against the wall, and I felt the butterflies come in full force.

"Yessssss, I think this is where we left off," I whispered, as my arm snakes around his neck, my hand tangling  in his dark hair, as I felt his familiar touch.

"Get a cage love birds," Jacks bellow sounded  from the car, and we broke apart, my boy growling under his breath, as he pulled me along with him.

I knew what came next, that night

That night that changed it all, but my mind never seamed to want to let it go.

I woke up screaming,the first time in Maine, I hadn't even realized I had, until I jolted awake, covered in cold sweat.

"Jason, what are you in my room, get out, you are such a creep." He chuckled lightly, getting up from the chair.

"You okay kiddo, you look pretty flustered." I blinked, rolling over to face him, a scowl present on my face as always, they annoyed me because they were so goody-goody, always love for everybody and oh don't worry you will do better next time, well let me just tell you something there is no next time and No  it is you either shape up or ship out!!

"Why do you care, all of you, because let me tell you one thing, I don't give a crap about any of you, you are nothing to me, and quit trying to play this goody goody act, it is getting on my nerves."

I rolled over again, really annoyed with this one-way conversation as I let my eyes shut again, but I didn't miss the hall light that had been left on, or the faint music that played in my room, and I don't think it was from a CD.
