"Ughhhhhhhh it's so hot," I stood looking like an awkward elephant as I watched Austin chop wood.i couldn't keep my eyes from his flexed muscles as he Maneuvered the ax, dangggggg it looked so good.
"Are you just going to stand there," he sounded irritated, as he stood up straight and walked past me, his shoulder hitting into mine
"Hey watch it," I screamed, kicking a rock, i wasn't gonna stay here much longer, even if life in California wasn't that great, it was a lot better then this stupid excuse for a town. I blew out my cheeks, as the dogs raced over to me, tackling me to the ground.
"Hahaha guys stop, you are going to make me miss you," I hugged them, realizing that I did have a soft spot for dogs.
" if I wasn't mistaken miss Comer," I looked up to see Austin standing there his head tilted to the side, a stupid lopsided smirk on his face, "I would say you were smiling." He sat a shovel on the ground, placing himself on the ground, grinning at the fluffy friends as they jumped on him.
I guess I had smiled, a little bit.

"Yeah I may have done some yard work, but there is no way I am doing that," I placed my hands on my thin hips glaring at Austin and his friends. They all grinned laughing as one of the guys plummets into the storming water below.
"Why, you scared hot stuff," one of the guys who looked to be about 6 foot four, with golden brown messy hair, and a stupid adorable smile on his face. I'm guessing these were the popular guys in the school, because they all seamed to have that one thing going for them, good looks.
"Not even," I screamed back, pulling off my tank top, so I was in my wet suit, Apparently it was the best thing to do when going cliff jumping. This wasn't to bad, I had done stuff like this all the time back in Cali, so what did I have to loose.
Maybe the fact I had just done it because my friends were watching.
" all right, then go," I blinked as one of the guys walk me up to the edge of the cliff, my whole body tense. I could feel the rippling wind beat against my skin, the Sun casting a harsh rays on my back.
My eyes met with the water below, it had slowed to is still sway glaring back up at me, sweeping it's muddy paws up against the rocks.
I took in a breath, backing up to have a running start, I had done this countless times before, what was one more go? "She's gonna do it Austin, the snob is gonna jump," I felt my heart rapid against my chest.
Beet beet beet
My palms were sweaty, every muscle in my body edging for the anticipation. I was running, my feet slamming against the uneven ground. Then my feet met with nothing, but air, and I was falling.
Weightlessness, that feeling that you are just floating there, as every piece of gravity beats against you, for those few seconds, that you are never going to reach the bottom.
With every growing second you are falling. Until you hit the bottom!
I split through the water, my heart fluttering, I was just glad I hadn't landed on rocks. The water pulled me down, then thrust me back up, my face breaking through the surface, as everyone cheered, and I grinned.
That is why I did it, I did everything because I cared so much about other peoples opinions of me that I would do anything to get anyone's approval.
That was just who I was!!!
"Wow, someone is a daredevil, your dad would kill me if he knew I made you jump off a cliff," Austin patted me on the back, and for that second, I felt my body sink into his touch.
For that second it felt so...
Brianna get a hold of yourself, you are leaving and anyway you have a boyfriend back home and you promised him you would be back as soon as you could.
I stepped away, trying to clear my head, "Well I gotta go," I mumbled, more to myself, then to him. With that, I found myself walking in that direction of the house, my clothes completely wet and my hair in a messy ponytail, water sliding down my face and back.
Who was I!!
I heard the door slam behind me, as I raced upstairs, the house was completely empty, and at that moment I was happy about it, I needed some peace and quiet.
"Where have you been?" I blinked, looking up from my phone. I rolled my eyes in response, throwing a Pillow at his face.
" dad, knock before you enter my room." I stood up, sliding past him, this is so annoying, I'm not 2 years old, gosh.
It smells like rotten wood in here z, I thought, looking over the landing onto the first floor. Jayson was getting food for the dogs, Austin no where to be found.
I was going to go back into my room, when something caught my eye.
