Music blasted, peoples swarmed around me, chattering about who knows what, and the shouting of sellers trying to convince knowledgeable people to buy their stuff. I didn't care, there was only one face I was looking for.
One face
Austin
"Are you just going to stand there," I blinked, continuing on, as my view of Austin vanished, now I couldn't even find him, as people circling around. For all I knew, he had already been swept up off his feet. With a song change, A soda in my hand, and a splitting headache I set off toward where I had seen him last, some girls flirting with the salesman at the phone booth.
Weaving my way through the crowd, I slid past a guy doing who knows what, and a ranting teen on the phone, where is he, it would fill like gold if I saw him, his blonde hair and lopsided smirk, and cocky attitude, that gitty feeling came fluttering back.
Running my hands through my tangled locks from The humidity, I proceeded to chase after him, but I was cut off, as my phone buzzed in my pocket. Huffing I fished it out, to see that my boyfriend was calling me. Sighing, I pressed the answer button, pushing the phone up to my ear.
Hey beautiful, haven't heard much from you lately.
I took a breath, my ears straining to hear his voice with all of the commotion around me. Like he even cared. "Yeah, I wanted you to be the one to call me for a change," I mumbled back, my feet moving forward as I spoke, people rushing past with bags of stuff, it looked very similar to some action that my friends and I used to do at stores.
Shop lifting
Ignoring it, I walked on, as my boy spoke back, his voice sounding quite tired, and out of it. "Where are you anyway, what's that noise, and I heard there is another guy there with you," he drawled, as Austin's face popped up in my mind. Where was he??
"I'm at the fair," I breathed into the phone, passing by a man who was screaming about how the game was rigged, I was about to turn around a corner, when I caught sight of something.
Jason kissing some lady
Jason
Does Austin know, I acted as though I hadn't seen, continuing to pass him by, on a search for his son. Blinking, I slid under the sheet of a tent, nearly tipping a table in the process, before I heard someone speak. I hadn't thought he would be in here. "You always have to fallow me don't you."
I shrugged, setting myself on the floor, as I stared up at the ceiling, my brain having a fight with itself. Sheesh.
"I guess so," I shot back, my eyes crashing into his, I pulled my knees up to my chest, weathering away in my own sorrows.
Hey I was doing just fine before I met you
I drink too much and that's an issue but I'm OK
"Brianna" blinking I looked up, his voice breaking the silence. I was practically leaning against his legs, but not completely, I guess my nerves got in the way, that feeling that holds you back from doing stuff because you are too nervous about what they would think.
Fear, one of the strongest forces, it holds you back from so many things, yet makes you do other things you would never do in you're right mind.
"Hmmmm" I wrapped my hands around my knees, not really sure what I was feeling, the tension was so thick I was gonna die, someone come lighten the mood. Someone save me, please.
He leaned forward, so close to my ear, I could feel his hot breath, as his lips moved. "You like me."

"I've played this game like 5 times and lost every time it's. Definitely your turn." I blinked, as Austin made a big deal about taking out his wallet. "hurry up looser we don't have all day," I teased, leaning slightly closer so it was annoying.
After he had said that remark in the tent, I guess the way he had reacted made me feel a bit better, he had just smiled, and boosted his ego a little too high, going on and on about how any girl he wanted he could get.
I knew it was true
"I like watching you loose," he bashed, leaning up against my arm, as the sparks decided to spring forth, heating up my skin, and blasting that unsure but excited feeling. A roller coaster.
"Shut up you, now go," I reached for his wallet, yanking it out of his hands playfully, as I opened it, taking out the cash. I grinned at him feeling like a huge tease, my hand reaching to hand the guy the money as something caught my eye.
His mom, there was a picture of her in his wallet, I could tell by the bright eyes and same facial structure well in a girl kind of way. His mom, she was smiling back at me, her eyes so bright and deep as the ocean, just like her sun.
"Here," I mumbled, shoving his wallet back at him, it was the only thing I could do at that moment, a pit opening up in my stomach, and swallowing me whole.
I was drowning
Drowning in the events of the past
My mom hadn't been there that night
That night it had all happened, the reason I had come here.
