Third party P.O.V

That morning, Daniel went to the river at the park to clear his mind. The thought of missing you was getting unbearable. He was tracing back his memories of you until he heard a familiar hum beside him. It was you.

"Hhh. It's been a week. I can't even contact him after what I said last time, right? Gosh, why did his friend had to say that to me. He's making me confused," I said annoyed.

I grasped my hair because I didn't know what to do and I missed him so much.

"Come on. I can't. I just can't. He's too good to be true. He deserves better. Besides, I don't think I can handle another broken heart," I concluded as I closed my eyes.

"(y/n)?" someone called me.

It was one of the street band member.

"Oh hi!" I replied as I got up.

"Why didn't you tell us you're coming?" he asked.

"I was just trying to clear my mind. I didn't know you guys are playing today," I continued.

"Yeah, we don't have any schedule today. But we all kind of bored, so we decided to just play for fun. Do you want to join us?" he invited.

"Mmm, sure. Can I pick a song? There's this one song that I really want to sing right now," I asked.

"Sure, anything you want. It's just for fun. Come on!" he said.

Now I'm asking my friends how to say "I'm sorry"
They say "Lad, give it time, there's no need to worry"
And we can't even be on the phone now
And I can't even be with you alone now

Oh, how shit changes
We were in love, now we're strangers
When I feel it coming up, I just throw it all away
Get another two shots 'cause it doesn't matter anyway

As I was singing, I suddenly saw Daniel among the crowd. Looking as good as always. I locked my eyes on him, and his eyes were also never left mine. I was really glad to see him there, because I really wanted to sing the song for him.

We're dancing on tables
And I'm off my face
With all of my people
And it couldn't get better they say
We're singing 'til last call
And it's all out of tune
Should be laughing, but there's something wrong
And it hits me when the lights go on
Shit, maybe I miss you

Once I was done, I approached him slowly after I said bye to the members.

"Hey, how are you? It's been a while," I said hesitantly.

"God this is awkward," I complained in my mind as I squinted my eyes slightly and clamped my lips.

"I'm good. What about you?" he replied as he put his hands inside his pockets.

"I'm good too. What are you doing here?" I asked as I forced a smile.

"I'm clearing my mind," he said as he looked down.
