Chapter 1

Mysterypup

Mysterypup stood beside her mother, Dawntail. Her brothers and sisters had gone out of the nursery with their father, Mosspelt. He had been Dawntail's mate, but then desided to be with Graystar; the leader who was after Dapplestar. Mysterypup couldn't get over the fact that herself and Graystar had the same white pelt with a gray spot on their tail.

Dawntail was watching Mysterypup in her thought. Mysterypup looked over her shoulder and said, "I going to go outside the den for a min-minute."  Dawntail nodded and Mysterypup got up.

As soon as she got out she realized how busy the evening was. Mysterypup spotted Graystar going to her den, so she raced after her. When she got to the leader's den entrance she paused. Then entered. The cave was dark and the shadows that appeared scared her. Graystar must have saw her because she barked, "Mysterypup?!?"

Mysterypup's eyes sparkled when she met the leader's eyes. "Yes?" she squeaked.

"You are too cute," Graystar whispered.

Mysterypup blushed. Why is she complimenting me? she wondered. "Th-thank you...." she said.

"Well, is there something you needed. I would do almost anything you want," Graystar was going to far now.

"I don't need anything, Gr-Graystar," she barked. "I 

should-"

Dawntail appeared out of nowhere. She looked mad and Mysterypup knew automatically that she was in trouble. Her mother then said, "I am sorry she bothered you!"

"Oh, no! She is fine. Mysterypup just wanted to check up on her leader," Graystar seemed so calm for the fact of being bugged.

"I'll take her out of here and then we need to speak," Dawntail said as she rushed me put of the room.
