Warriors(Dog Version) Part 1: Graystar's Secret

Chapter 13

Mysterypaw

Mysterypaw sat beside the broken hearted warrior. She was as broken hearted as him. I thought I could trust him! Ugh! What a mistake I made trusting another dog from another Clan! StarClan why did you let this happen to me?!? she thought angrily to herself.

"I... I think I should go..." Cloudyrain said devastated. "I don't need a rival Clan caring for me!"

He never called us that! He must be mad! Mysterypaw answered, "Okay I'll tell Graystar and see about me taking you over to your side..."

Cloudyrain lifted his head to her. "Okay...."

She lifted her body up. Then padded up to Graystar's den. She suddenly had flashbacks of when she was a pup. She remembered how she walked slowly up the steps, and didn't even wait for Graystar to invite her in. The pup version of her just raced into the den and to the leader. The leader was so nice to her. Dawntail, her mother, scolded her and put her back in her nest though.

She finally came back to reality and continued to walk up the steps. She heard Graystar talking to someone. "Our daughter has turned into such a warrior..." Mysterypaw heard her say.

She then backed up and made her steps louder. The leader must have heard her because she stropped talking. "Oh, do come in Mysterypaw..." the leader's voice sounded inviting.

"Umm.. Graystar the ShadowClan warrior wishes to leave. I was thinking of escorting him by myself, as a warrior job. Just until I'm ready to become a warrior..." she said in an asking manner.

"Of coarse you can! But..." the leader paused. "Are you sure you want to do this alone?"

Mysterypaw thought about it. "Yes, if you would let me..."

"Very well then. Go as soon as you can..." Graystar told her.

She padded out of the den, then raced down the steps. Mysterypaw got to the apprentice den quickly. "Get up... If you want to go, we go now!" she growled. For some reason she wanted him to stay and go at the same time.

Cloudyrain lifted his battle scarred body. She couldn't help missing him. It was a fact that she loved him. "Let's go," he mumbled as his legs wobbled.

She led him out of the camp and they headed for the border. Their timing to get there to forever. His injured self kept falling. Mysterypaw had to carry him to the border.

"I'm going to take you to your camp. I can't risk you laying in the middle of your territory without a medicine dog," she told him caring for him.

"I guess.. You did say you'll always love me.." his fact made her blush.

She carried him to his camp. "What are you doing here ThunderClan apprentice?" asked the ShadowClan leader, Growlstar.

"You have an injured warrior.. He rested at our camp during the fight. As you can see, he is very injured," Mysterypaw answered.

Spotfur raced towards the warrior. "So how's medicine dog training?" the dog asked.

"I had a prophecy and I'm training to be a warrior now," she told the ShadowClan medicine dog.

After chatting and telling them what happened, she began to make her way home.

She got to camp quickly and missed Cloudyrain, but tried not to think about it.
