In the labyrinth of pain, where hearts bleed and souls strain,
Every deed, a heavy chain, every word, a bitter stain.

As the clock mercilessly struck 1 am, Justin stormed into the house, his face a raging sea of crimson, as if every ounce of his blood had surged there in a fury. It was a breaking point, a detonation of patience that had simmered beneath the surface. Heat radiated from his ears, a visceral manifestation of his seething anger.
No soul within those walls could fathom where he'd been since he'd stormed out of the restaurant after his explosive encounter with Shafaq. Every servant, from kitchen staff to household help, sensed the tempest brewing within him. They knew better than to expect a swift return to tranquillity; when Justin was angry, the storm could endure for days. Rarely did he unleash his wrath on others, but tonight was an exception. And why, one might ponder? For Shafaq's words, though stinging, weren't the worst he'd weathered in his time. Yet this anger, this consuming fire, was unlike anything he'd known before.
Anna's voice cut through the tense silence like a blade, edged with frustration that mirrored the lines creasing her forehead. "Where have you been? Do you have any idea how long I've been waiting for you?"
"What are you doing here?" Justin asked, shrugging off his coat. "You should have gone home." He shot back, his tone sharp
"How could I just go home after what happened at the restaurant?" She seemed torn between anger and worry, leaving Justin uncertain which emotion was directed at him.
Not receiving a response from Justin, Anna sighed deeply, her frustration momentarily subsiding as she spoke again, her tone now tinged with a plea for understanding. "Justin, please, let it go. It was just a few words. There's no need to dwell on it."
"Just a few words?" Justin's eyebrow arched in incredulity.
"No, It's not just that." he paused, his hands clenched, a visible manifestation of his pent-up frustration. "It's the attitude, the disdain in her eyes. I couldn't stand it," he declared, his anger resurfacing as he sank into an armchair by the fireplace, a glass of wine in his hand. His gaze fixated on the dancing flames, mirroring the turmoil raging within him.
"So what? It's still not that big of a deal!" Anna's voice grew louder, her frustration bubbling over.
Justin squeezed his eyes shut, a deep, exasperated sigh escaping his lips. "Wait a minute! Are you sympathising with her?" His gaze bore into Anna, his attention fully focused. "Do you expect me to go and apologise to her, is that it?" His voice took on a sharp edge, laced with disdain, his brows arching in contempt.
