36) I Will Obliterate You All ♡

It's never felt this bad before. I've dealt with it a thousand times but I seem to forget the pain every time.

Blood is all I can see and feel.

And before you jump to any conclusions. No. I haven't killed anyone.
Yet.

Let's straight to the point.

I'm bleeding because this is my bodies 'fabulous and pain-free' way of telling me I'm not pregnant.
When I say fabulous I mean 'I'll be all over the place for the next week' and by pain-free I mean 'dead inside.'

It's good to know I'm not the next Virgin Mary and I won't need to break the news to my non-existent boyfriend.

All I have to do is give Zoe a look when I get in the car which sends us both to McDonald's. We end up buying the entire breakfast menu. She is going to need fuel to get her through today and I am happy to eat free food.

She parks out the front of the school so we can finish our hashbrowns in peace.
"So are we going to go inside anytime soon?" she enquires looking over at me.

I watch the stream of people flow in through the school gates but there are three faces in-particular that I'm looking out for, "I think for the safety of you and the five percent of students I actually like at the school that it would be best if I stay right here."

Zoe pivots around in her seat so she is in a better position to stare me down,"You're going to sit in a car all day?"

"Sitting is one of my only special skills which also include overthinking, sleeping and eating," sadly these don't count as skills when it comes to getting a job. "Plus I don't think I can move. I've found the position where I can't feel the pain. So you can just leave me here to slowly die."

That's met with an over-exaggerated eye roll. Zoe grabs her bag from the backseat before getting out of the car.

I relish the five seconds of silence as my door flies open and I am dragged out of the car.

"You'll be fine today; all you have to do is ignore it. The pain will eventually go away."

I stop abruptly causing traffic in the flow of students "One, they are not like hiccups and will not go away if you ignore them or drink a litre of water. And you're not the one who is nauseous and feels like their insides are dying."

Zoe loops her arm through mine and tugs me along "Just keep repeating encouraging things to yourself like I am Strong, I am Amazing, I am a Woman, My body is a temple-"

"Made out of chicken nuggets and cupcakes" I realise my mistake of interrupting her inspirational speech "they don't call it a muffin top for nothing."

She shakes her head as we enter the school "So did Charlie end up finding you yesterday? It seemed like he really needed to talk to you."

Can't I have one day without the mention of males?

"Ah yeah but I wouldn't really call it talking," I mutter under my breath.

"What happened? I'm missing something, aren't I? Does it involve a certain boy?" Without even looking I can sense her wiggling her eyebrows.

I want to say three boys actually but that will most chance end in me being interrogated.

I pick up our walking speed to avoid any more conversation; I never thought I'd want to get to homeroom so quickly.
