Chapter 19 : The Eclipse Gate

"We won, we won" Yukino cheers.
We chuckle at her behavior.
It's been a few hours since we have won the games.

"We should rest for a while".
They nod and we head for our inn.
We hear some girls crying.
We glance behind us and see the three whores with tears in their eyes.
We roll our eyes and see our exes with shock in theirs.

We teleport to our rooms and take a shower.
We re-quip into our cloaks and go to bed.
I'm sleeping so peacefully for a few hours but I quickly bolt up, waking the others up iprocess.
Something is wrong, I can feel it.

"What's wrong" Rose asks.
I search through my bag and panic.
"My golden keys, they're gone".
Kira's eyes widen and she searches her bag.
"I don't have them ..... wait a second.
YUKINO CHECK IF YOU HAVE YOUR KEYS" Kira yells the last part.

Yukino's eyes widen and she's also missing her golden keys.
"No no no no no ..... this is bad" Yukino says.
An idea pops up in my head.
"Open gate of the lion, Leo" Leo appears and we quickly rush to him.

"Leo, our zodiac keys are gone" Kira says.
"I know, someone stole them while you guys were sleeping.
There was something preventing us from forcing our gates to open" Leo explains.

"Do you know where-" the ground begins to shake and we open the windows.
It's already nighttime and a golden light shines from the castle.

"I think I know where our keys are".
"Where are your keys" Minerva asks.
I point to the castle and they look.
"You're right, I can feel Pieces' and Libra' magic" Yukino says.

We run towards the boys' room and kick it open.
They bolt up, they were probably sleeping.
"What the heck was that for" Sting asks.
I roll my eyes and open the windows.

"Our zodiacs keys have been stolen".
Their eyes widen and Rufus asks "Do you know where they are".
"Yes, they're at the royal palace" Yukino says.
"What do they want with your keys" Rouge asks.

I put a hand on my chin and think.
"Wait a second .... they have all 12 zodiac keys and today is July 7th" Kira claims.
My eyes widen in shock.
"So that means someone is trying the open the eclipse gate.
No no no, that can't happen".

"What's the eclipse gate" Orga asks.
"The eclipse gate was made by Zeref, it was originally used to travel back in time.
However it was also used to stop the dragons who betrayed or abandon their kings or queens".

"If that gate opens, all the dragons will come out and destroy everything.
Or worse, kill everyone in sight" Kira explains.

Their eyes widen and Minerva says "We need to stop it".
The ground shakes again and we hear someone behind us.
We quickly get into a fighting position and face the mysterious person.

"Who are you and what do you want" Sting asks.
"I am someone you know very well Sting.
In fact, I'm the person whose heart you broke by cheating with Jenny" a familiar feminine voice says.

She pulls down her hood and our eyes widen.
She's me but she feels and looks different.
Like she's been through a lot.

"I am Lucy Heartfilia or Shimā since you all know me by that.
I come from the future, 7 years from the future to be precise" Lucy explains.

"No way" Kira says.
Lucy looks at Kira and tears stream down her cheeks.
She runs towards Kira and hug her.
"Whoa, what's the hug for" Kira asks.

Lucy lets go and says "Sorry, it's just that it's been years since I last saw you and I've missed you so much".
Kira smiles and thanks her.
"We should probably stop wasting time and stop the gate" Rouge says.
