"you need to let him go" those six words were like a knife being stabbed in my heart repeatedly. but i love justin. and if it's what he wants. I'll...I'll let him go.
"ari?" jai said cutting me off of my daydream.
"uh yeah okay i'll go talk to him."
suddenly the room started shaking and i feel like throwing up.
"EARTHQUAKE!" i yelled then jai protected me as he put my arms on the top of my hand and hugged me with his body. it suddenly stopped and i stopped crying too. the picture frame of justin and i broke. i cried as i picked it up then suddenly i heard a knock outside my house and i quickly went downstairs still holding the broken picture frame. i opened the door and saw justin.
"ari are you oka-" he got cut off by jai running down the stairs and called my name "ariana wait! maybe that's-" they both glared at each other and i gave gave jai the 'i'll be okay' look and he nodded. he walked upstairs and left me and justin alone. justin then spoke up.
"the frame it broke." he said starting to cry. oh my God i totally forgot that if the frame broke we will break up. it seemed like he shooked it off his head and started talking
"sorry. i didn't know you had visitors!" he yelled at me.
"justin, let's talk about it tomorrow okay?" i said. he then calmed down and nodded as he walked off and went to his house. as i could see some cracks on the floor outside. i close the door and went upstairs. i saw jai on my bed on his phone texting someone.
"oh hey" he said and looked at me.
"hey, uh i think you should stay here since the roads uhm cracked."
"oh okay"
"hey, not to be rude but, why you here?" i asked
"i miss you. that's it"
"jai, i miss you too." i spoke softly.
"ari, i'll never hurt you again i'll be your friend i'm always here for you. now come on." he opened his arms for me to hug him. i hugged him and we fell asleep.
*Next Morning*
i woke up to the sound of snores. i looked beside me and saw the peaceful sleeping jai. i think he caught me staring at him. he rubbed his eyes and sat down.
"morning beautiful" he said as i blushed.
"morning jai" i replied sitting up.
"so what are you upto today?" jai asked
"i dunno maybe i'll go talk to justin and.. and let him uh go." i replied kinda sad.
"good" he said as he got up.
"where ya going?" i asked
"oh i gotta go home i have to do something." he replied as i nodded and got up. i heard the door close so i took a shower and got out. i wore a black crop top and white fitting pants.i wore my black heels as i got out and drove off to justin's house.
Justin's POV
i woke up the next morning waiting for ariana to come but she didn't. suddenly i heard a knock on the door so i got up and opened the door. why is she here?
"selena what are you doing here?"
"well i heard you needed company. c-can i come in?" she asked with puppy face. well i do need company. she's so beautiful and cute. i nodded and moved out away
we sat on the couch and she started talking.
"Justin, i- i miss you. i miss us." she said tear starting to roll down her cheeks.
"selena i-" i got cut off by her
"justin. i know. i know you don't wanna get back with me" she said "and i understand that" she continued.
"actually-" i got cut off again. but this time it was not selena. it was the door. i went open it and saw..
