Chapter 3 Part 2

Finn-Oh my god.

Finn couldn't believe what he had just read. Rachel was in love with him. He was so confused, all these emotions came to him all at once. He was happy because he had felt something for her too but scared because he knew that if anything happened they'd be in trouble. He had all these different thoughts running thru his head when he heard small footsteps approaching.

Finn- crap...

He put the notebook back the way it was and walked over to the other side of the room. Rachel walked in with sheet music in hand.

Rachel- found them they must have fallen out of my bag when I got out this morning (she laughed)

Finn chucked without looking at her.

Rachel- so I think we got the set list done everyone knows the steps thanks to Mike and Britney good thinking on putting them in charge of choreography Mr. Shue was always in charge of it but I know that Mike and Britney really appreciate this chance.

Finn- yeah I know

He still wouldn't look at her

Rachel- Finn are you ok?

Finn- what? Yeah umm... listen I think we gotta end early is that ok with you?

Rachel- oh.. Ok yeah that's fine

They both began to gather their things and both walked out to the parking lot. Finn wouldn't look at her. It was dark already which was typical for them cuz they'd always take a long time during their weekly meetings. They both walked over to their cars which were parked next to each other.

Rachel- so... See you tomorrow?

Finn- yeah sure.. Bye..

He opened his car's door and entered. He was about to close it when Rachel stopped it.

Rachel- Finn are you sure you're ok? You won't even look at me.

Finn turned to her and saw how worried she was. He looked into her eyes and then at her lips. He could've kissed her right there and told her how he felt about her. But he knew the consequences that would come along with it.

Finn- yeah I'm fine really I'm just nervous about regionals.

Rachel smiled- don't worry we're gonna win you'll see and then we're gonna go to nationals and we're gonna win.

Finn smiled- thanks Rachel. Hey Rachel how old are you?

Rachel- I turned 18 on December 18. Why?

Finn- oh just wondering.. Good night Rachel.

Rachel- good night Finn
