Chapter 27

The next day, Rachel got up early to clean her house. She wanted to make sure everything looked nice for Finn since this was going to be his first time over at her house. She made sure everything was spotless, she couldn't help but wonder what Finn and Will were up to. Both had acted suspicious yesterday and it seemed that there was more behind their story. She decided to text Finn.

Rachel- hey babe, whatcha up to?

Finn- oh nothing just making Will wash my car.

Rachel- oh and then going to the gym?

Finn- yeah

Rachel- ok... Well I miss you (:

Finn- haha I miss you too <3 see you tonight(;

Rachel put away her phone smiling. She truly loved this man, being with him made her so happy. She just wished she could be more open about their relationship but because of the circumstances, they couldn't. She wondered at times about telling her fathers about her relationship. She wondered how'd they react, would they be mad? Would they try to fire Finn? Would they think it's wrong but be ok with it in the end? She also wondered where the relationship was going. She knew she loved him but what was going to happen after graduation? Would they be able to stay together or would the distance separate them? It worried her but all she needed to reassure her was that in the moment, they were perfect.

It was later that night and Finn had arrived at Rachel's house. He walked up to the front door and knocked. The door flew open and there stood Rachel. She was wearing a short navy blue laced dress. Her hair was half up and half down and curled.

Finn- wow, you look beautiful.

Rachel blushed- Thank you, you look really handsome.

Finn- thanks.

Rachel- come in please.

Finn walked in and noticed how large Rachel's house was. It was mostly white but it was decorated with colored pillows and other accessories.

Rachel- come on I'll give you a tour.

She held out her hand and led him around the house. It was a two story house that had 3 rooms; her dads' room, her room and their spare room for guests. They also had a large family room and a basement that was converted to a second family room that had a small stage and screen.

Rachel- my dads changed the basement into a big family room. When I was younger, I'd go on the stage and perform for them. Now we use it for their Emmy, Oscars and Tony awards night. A bunch of their friends come over and we watch it together.

Finn- oh kinda like your version of the Superbowl.

Rachel- exactly! I was thinking we could just watch the movie down here tonight.

Finn- ok but before that you gotta give me a special private performance.

Rachel- haha maybe if you're lucky...

She grabbed his hand and led him back upstairs to the dinning room where she had already laid out a dinner.

Rachel- I have a confession to make.

Finn looked at her- ok... What is it?

Rachel- I tried to cook a chicken for you but I couldn't stand the smell of it and I accidentally burned it so I instead just made some Alfredo pasta with salad and corn on the side.

Finn laughed- babe, don't worry everything looks great.

He leaned over and kissed her on the cheek. She smiled back at him, knowing she had gotten the perfect guy for her. They ate their meal while they discussed glee club, school, and friends. Rachel hated having to change the great mood but she needed to ask him something that had been bothering her earlier in the day.
