The day had arrived and everyone's spirits were high. Everyone knew that they had it in the bag but they were still a bit nervous. They walked into the theatre and were surprised to see over 400 people seated, all waiting to hear them perform. They walked to their seats. They were going to be 4 other groups performing and they were slot number 5. The first group was a group of older women called The Cougars. They ranged from 35-48 year old women and each gave an eye to the young men in the audience. They weren't the best at dancing or singing but were able to charm some of the judges, particularly the men. The next club was a group of younger women called the Bellas and they were good at singing but they used a lot of old songs. Each group after that were either dull or messed up their performance but the final group was a choir group from a high school in Anaheim, Ca called the Katella Knights. Their set list included Pocket Full of Sunshine, Best Song Ever (which was sung by the best looking boys of the group) and they closed it off with Counting Stars. They were definitely the group to beat. Everyone was backstage preparing themselves when they saw the group walk off stage. The leader of the group walked over to Rachel and wished them good luck.

Rachel- damn it, they're nice too

Finn- ALRIGHT! Guys, this is it. You're ready for this ok? I know each and everyone one of you is a star. Now I want you all to show everyone out there that McKinley High has the brightest stars in America! So come on! Let's do this! I believe in all of you and I love all of you!

Everyone put out their hands in the middle of the circle and yelled out- AAAAAAAMAZING!!!!!

With that the girls walked out onto the stage and Edge of Glory began playing.

Santana-There ain't no reason you and me should be alone

Tonight, yeah, baby! (Tonight, yeah, baby!)

And I got a reason that you're who should take me home tonight (Tonight)

Yanely- I need a man that thinks it's right when it's so wrong

Tonight, yeah, baby! (Tonight, yeah, baby!)

Right on the limits where we know we both belong tonight

Quinn and Tina- It's hard to feel the rush, to brush the dangerous

I'm gonna run right to, to the edge with you

Where we can both fall far in love

All girls- I'm on the edge of glory, and I'm hanging on a moment of truth

Out on the edge of glory, and I'm hanging on a moment with you

I'm on the edge, the edge, the edge, the edge, the edge, the edge, the edge,

I'm on the edge of glory, and I'm hanging on a moment with you

I'm on the edge with you.

(Continuing the performance)

The girls were amazing! The audience rose to their feet cheering and this was just the beginning. Rachel walked out onto the stage. She looked at Finn and smiled at her as the spot light hit her for her solo performance. Finn had no idea what song Rachel had chosen since she had decided to keep it a secret. The music began and they locked eyes with each other.

Rachel-For all those times you stood by me

For all the truth that you made me see

For all the joy you brought to my life

For all the wrong that you made right

For every dream you made come true

For all the love I found in you
