Chapter 30

Rachel woke up exhausted from the previous night's festivities. She looked at the clock next to her bed and saw it was 8am. She turned back around and started to doze off only to wake up again to the sound of her phone ringing. She groaned and reached for it.

Rachel- hello?....

Finn- GOOD MORNING BEAUTIFUL!!

Rachel smiled- good morning babe

Finn- sorry, did I wake you?

Rachel- kinda but it's ok, what's up?

Finn- well I was wondering if you'd like to join me, Jesse, Will and Yanely for breakfast in about 20 mins

Rachel- hmmm... Sounds good. I'll meet you guys in the lobby in about 20 or 30 mins

Finn- ok babe see you then

She hung up and stretched. She had had an amazing dream about prom and how she went with Finn and how everyone was ok with it. Even her parents and teachers. She'd hope that one day she could tell her dads about Finn. She got up and began getting ready, she decided to wear a semi-short black skirt with a cute blush pink blouse. She quickly curled a bit of her hair and put on some minimal make up and walked out. She walked into the lobby of the hotel the glee club was staying at and saw that everyone was already waiting.

Finn- you look beautiful

Rachel- aw thank you

Will- well let's go and get that breakfast!

Finn held Rachel's hand as they walked out to get a cab to get to a local restaurant that had a New Orleans style.

Rachel- oh my gosh this place is so cute!

Yanely- I know! I love themed restaurants!

They walked in and were shown to a table that was already prepared for them. They were in a separate room that gave them more privacy and more space. They sat and enjoyed a meal together, laughing and reminiscing the night before.

Finn- I didn't even get to tell you how amazing your performance was Rachel. It was incredible.

Rachel- aw thank you Finn, it was dedicated to you.

She leaned over and kissed him.

Everyone- Boo! Get a room!

Finn- oh you're all just jealous!

The group laughed and got ready to leave. They decided to walk back to the hotel to see some local shops. Rachel and Yanely were looking at some jewelry when Finn walked over with his hand behind his back.

Rachel- Finn, what are you hiding?

Finn- it's just a little something for you..

He reveals a yellow bag from Forever 21 and hands it to her.

Finn- I have something special planned for dinner and I want you to wear this...

Rachel opens the bag and pulls out a mint green strapless dress. It had jewels along the waistline and a sweetheart neckline.

Rachel- oh my gosh, Finn it's beautiful! I love it!

Finn- I knew you would, I saw it and it reminded me of you.

Rachel- but baby, what's the special occasion?

Finn- I just want to celebrate us winning Nationals, privately...

Rachel smiled and kissed him.

After Rachel bought some wedges and earrings to go with her outfit, they left back to the hotel. They were entering when Finn pulled her aside.
