Chapter 5

Everyone had fallen asleep in their own rooms for the night. Rachel snuck out of the girls room and walked over to the elevator and hit the "rooftop" floor. The doors opened and the wind blew in.
Rachel- I guess now I know why they call it the Windy City.
Finn- haha
Rachel- hi
Finn- hi
They stood in front of each other smiling quietly.
Rachel- so what did you want to talk to me about?
Finn- about earlier... The kiss... And about us...
Rachel- well... What kiss?
Finn- we can't deny it Rachel, I kissed you and you kissed me back.
Rachel- I know I just wanted you to say it.
Finn- well i know how you feel about me
Rachel- what do you mean?
Finn- Rachel I saw your notebook, I didn't mean to snoop but I read it and I know that you're in love with me.
Rachel- Ok... And? I'm not gonna deny my feelings... I am in love with you... And don't tell me that you don't feel something for me too because YOU kissed ME. And I see the way you look at me it's not the way you look at other girls and you can't deny it.
Finn- I know. (He grabbed her hands and looked into her eyes)
I'm in love with you too.
Rachel was shocked, she knew he had feelings but she didn't know that he loved her too. She looked at his lips and kissed him. They kissed for a while until Finn pulled back again.
Finn- Rachel I can't... I love you but... I'm your teacher...
Rachel- I don't care all I care about is you.
Finn- but if anyone finds out we could get in trouble, I could get in trouble and then we wouldn't be able to see each other.
Rachel- I'm not gonna tell anyone, Finn please just give us a chance.
Finn looked into her eyes- I love you Rachel.
Rachel- I love you too Finn.
They kissed again and stayed up on the roof for another hour talking about how they were going to try to be together but that they were going to hide their relationship from everyone and how they had to be extremely careful. Even tho Rachel was of legal age and Finn was only 6 years older than her, they were sure that not everyone would approve of their relationship. They took the elevator down to their floor separately and went back to their rooms. Everyone in the girls room was still asleep and it looks like no one had noticed Rachel's disappearance. She laid down and smiled as she thought of everything that had happened that day. They had won and were gonna go to Nationals. And most importantly Finn had told her that he loved her and now they were in a relationship, a secret one but still a committed relationship. She fell asleep imagining herself in his arms.
