Chapter 22

Finn- RACHEL!
Lara- oh relax I just hit her with my gun. She's gonna take a nap while we talk.
Finn- HOW DARE YOU?!
He got close to Lara but Lara just lifted the gun and aimed it at Finn.
Lara- hey! Back up! Or else I'll put her to sleep permanently! Now where were we? Oh yeah! So what's it gonna take to change your mind?
She got close to Finn and placed her hand on him seductively. Finn just looked at Rachel collapsed on the ground, she was so defenseless. He couldn't think of anyway to help her. Unless... he distracted her some how.

Jesse had left Yanely and went to look for Rachel who was probably with Mr. Shue and Finn. He passed by the teacher's lounge and out walked Mr. Shue.
Jesse- oh! Mr. Shue! I thought you were with Finn.
Will- yeah I was I just got a phone call from my wife and I had gotten some amazing news.
Jesse- oh really?
Will- yeah she told me that-
They were interrupted by a something hitting the ground and someone shouting.
Jesse- what was that?
Will- I don't know. But it sounded like Finn. We better hurry.
They walked to the choir room and saw from the window Lara pointing the gun at Finn.
Jesse- oh my god. We gotta do something.
Will- hold up I have an idea but we're gonna have to wait for a moment of opportunity.
They stood listening to Lara and Finn talking.

Lara- come on Finn... I know what you like...
Finn looked at Lara and saw nothing but disgust but knew he had to do something to save Rachel and himself.
Finn- you know...seeing you like this... shows me how much you care and how you're willing to do anything to be with me. You've really changed haven't you?
Lara- Finn, that's what I've been trying to tell you all along! I love you and I'm willing to do this to show it to you!
Finn- Oh Lara... I love you too. What you did, my girlfriend would've never done in a million years. I can't be without you.
He leaned in and kissed her. Lara kissed back and Finn kept his eyes open and saw Jesse and Will coming in to try to help them. Finn continued kissing Lara trying to distract her. Jesse crept over to Rachel and carefully pulled her over to the side. Will came up behind Lara. Finn pulled away and locked eyes with Lara and slide his hands down to her waist.
Lara- Finn, I just knew you still loved me. I knew it.
Finn- oh Lara, you clearly don't remember that I took acting classes in college.
He grabbed the gun and tried pulling it out of Lara's hands. She held on tight. Will came up behind and grabbed Lara's arms and tried getting her to release it. They continued struggling and Lara accidentally pulled the trigger. The gun went off and it scared everyone and made Lara drop it.
Police- HANDS UP! LPD! STEP AWAY FROM THE WEAPON!
They all took steps away from the gun.
Lara- oh thank you officers! You saved me from these men who tried attacking me!!
Officer- Lara, you are under arrest for violating you're restraining order and attempted assault with a weapon.
Lara- NO! You don't understand! I LOVE HIM!! He's mine!!!!
The police handcuffed Lara and took her away screaming. Finn rushed over to Rachel, who was still unconscious.
Finn- Rachel? Rachel please wake up. Rachel, honey, please.
He held her and gently patted her cheek.
Police- an ambulance is on it's way sir. Who is she?
Finn- her name is Rachel Barbra Berry, she's my student. Lara hit her head with the gun
Just then the paramedics walked in and went to get Rachel on the stretcher.
Paramedic- she has a steady pulse... Partly faint. We need to get her to the hospital now.
They began leading her away and Finn followed close by.
Finn- is she gonna be ok?
Paramedic- can't tell could be something small, could be something big like a fatal blow to the head. We have to get her to a doctor and possibly a cat-scan.
They got to the ambulance and loaded Rachel in the back
Finn- can I come?
Paramedic- are you related to her?
Finn- no I'm her teacher
Paramedic- sorry we can't let you only family relations. We'll notify family at the hospital.
They closed the door and sped away to the hospital. Finn stood there, helpless and distressed. All he could think about was the love of his life laying unconscious and it was all his fault.

A/N: So, what do you guys think? Aren't you glad Lara is gone?... Or is she? And poor Rachel, what if something happens to her?

Btw if you haven't caught it Lara knocked Rachel out by hitting her with the butt of the gun in the head. And I realize that putting "bam" sounds like a shot when off but I couldn't really think of any sound that it would make lol let me know what you thought in the comments and don't forget to vote and follow!

Ok guys, so I won't be posting as often as I usually do bc I'm finally catching up to the chapters where I haven't written anything. So obviously I'm gonna be posting every couple of days while I continue to write. Thanks for understanding(: and I know that you guys will want me to update understand that sometimes I can't.
