POV Austin
While on the elevator Austin couldn't help but wonder what's going on with him. He wants this woman. He couldn't stand it when she hid her face from him just now. He wanted to see her. He couldn't wait to come home from his trip. She intrigues him. He needs to discover what's hidden behind those enticing eyes.
When Austin gets off on the fifth floor he is met by Jason.
He doesn't show it, but he is relieved when he sees the smirk on his friends face. Jason has accepted his job offer. It's a good thing because Austin needs him by his side for this next step in his life.
"After you boss man." Jason says.
With the nod of his head Austin enters the conference room to go make his announcements.
**********
"So how is the lovely miss Callan doing. Is she still making you crazy?" Jason ask's him. Him and Austin is currently in his new office on the thirtieth floor.
"I've kissed her again." I said.
"You've done what! And Again!" Jason asked shocked.
"You heard me."
"When? And why?"
"Does it matter." Ashton asked him irritated.
"It matter's because you don't usually do this kind of stuff. The only woman you have ever really been interested in was Gabriela and - "
"That's not true, there has been other women." Auston interruped him.
There's a sudden knock on the door.
Jason just let's out a snort at that before and Austin tells the person at the door to enter.
"Miss Callan. It's lovely to see you again." He said.
"Uhm, Hello, Mr Hunt. " Natalie said with a hesitant smile.
"Call me Jason." He said before getting up and walking to the door.
"I have things to do. You two do whatever it is you two do." He said with a knowing smirk. And closed the door behind him.
Auston takes a breath before really looking at her. "How's the headache?"
"It's gone. Carmen asked me to give you this." She brings him a document and starts to turn around but he stops her.
"We need to talk." He told her.
"We have already talked." She replied stubbornly.
"No we need to have a serious talk. At a place where we'll be alone and not interrupted." His phone starts to ring, but he doesn't want to answer. He wanted to keep talking to her. To find out why he has this strong attraction towards her.
She looks thoughtful for a moment. His eyes wanders to her mouth and her luscious, soft lips makes him want to grab and kiss her again. He puts his hands in his pockets to stop him from doing just that.
"Can't we just not do this. We can ignore it. You can stop kissing me. And I'll try to stay out of your way. You can- "
The next thing he knows he is kissing her again. He doesn't even know how he got to her that fast. But he just had to stop her rambling nonsense.
Before he can deepen the kiss she moves a way. He feels disappointed at that, but he sees determination in her eyes and he holds his hands up in surrender.
"Can you stop kissing me? What if I have a boyfriend or something?" There's a pause, before dread appears on her face.
"Oh my god! What if you have a girlfriend? Wasn't that girl in that café you girlfriend?"
There's another pause.
"Oh my god! What if she is your wife? Is she your wife?" She stares at him with shock on her face.
He stares at her for a moment and he stops himself from smiling.
"Yes and we have two children. But who cares about that."
He doesn't even see it coming, but the slap she gives him has his cheek stinging.
She turns around to leave but he catches her wrist to stop her.
"I'm kidding, Natalie."
He then holds up his left hand to her.
"Do you see a ring or a ring mark? And the girl in the café is my sister." He explains.
"Oh my god. I just slapped my boss." she says shocked.
He smirks. "Yeah you did -"
" - But you deserved it." She interruped him.
"No I did not. And now you have two options. Either you quit working here. Or we go have that much needed talk tonight." He states.
"How about neither?" She says.
"No, you only have those two choices. I'll have your answer at seven tonight." His phone starts ringing again. "You may leave."
He doesn't give her time to respond and answers his phone. "Ames." He says into the phone.
He watched her turn to leave his office. He won't let her quit, but he just really needs them to have that talk.
