The next few weeks passed in bliss, with Austin and I keeping our secret hidden from almost everyone, with the exception of his father of course. We don't see each other every day of the week, but when we do see each other sparks fly. And it often leads to passion between the sheets, at his penthouse apartment or his yacht that I have come to love.
My friends haven't stopped asking me about Danny and her imaginary problems, but I manage to keep the many questions at bay by being vague with the answers.
I'm currently in Austin's bed after spending another night at his place. He has disappeared and left a note. It said that he went to go get us breakfast. It's Saturday morning so I don't worry about getting up in a hurry.
When I'm done enjoying the bed that feels like a marshmallow, I get up to go to the bathroom.
Austin still hasn't returned when I'm finished in his bathroom. So I head for the living room to wait for him there. By now there are a few personal things of mine in both his apartment and yacht, thanks to him. He bought them after I mentioned I smelled like him after using his body wash in the shower.

"Oh good, you're finally back. I'm starving." I said when I heard the elevator ding. Expecting it to be him. But instead, I find two gorgeous women and Austin's father when I turn around.
"Who are you and why are you in my son's apartment?" The older woman asked with a sneer. I recognized the younger one as the woman who sneered at me the first time I met Austin.
I open my mouth to answer, but nothing comes out and I close it again.
"She's just one of his latest flings, Margaret. I'm sure she would hastily leave." Austin father says with a condescending smile. Then frowns at me. "Although he normally gets rid of one every week. So why are you still here?"
"She probably thinks she'll get him to stay with her." The younger woman said also with a condescending smile. It must really run in their family.
"Where is my son." Mr. Ames senior chipped in. He doesn't wait for an answer before walking to the area where Austin's study is situated.
I must really look like a fish on dry land by now. They tend to ask questions, but don't expect answers to them. So I make up my mind to just to get my things and leave.
"I'm just going to get my things and go..." I said hesitantly and then turn around to go to the bedroom.
When I'm done I find them all sitting on the coaches in the living area of the apartment. I don't look at them, just hurry to the elevator that will take me away from these people, who's looking at me like I'm a peasant. I'm now getting an idea of what Austin meant with 'My family is not the best'.
But I don't get far because the elevator door opens and Austin steps off with a paper bag in his hand.
Without a care in the world, he bends down and kisses me. Before I could move away someone clears their throat. Making Austin finally register that we're not alone.
"I'm so sorry." He whispered looking pained.
"What are you guys doing here?" He asks his family with a frown, taking my hand in his.
"We're here because you've been avoiding us." His mother says.
"And we have business to discuss." His father also chips in.
I was waiting for the girl to speak, but Austin beats her to it.
"I'm busy running the family company, as you all know. So there isn't must time to spare." He replies to them.
"If you've got time to have fun with your current fling, then you can make time for your family." His mother said sending a quick sneer my way.
By now I want to rip my hand from Austin and make a run for it. I've met stuck up, bratty people before. But these people can give you one look and then you'll know you a piece of filthy gum that got stuck on the bottom of their designer shoe.
This is not the vibe I got from his father the first time I met him here. Now I don't know what side of him to believe. He plays the nice guy and the horrible person equally brilliant.
"How I run my personal life is none of your business. That was the deal remember. I take over the family business and you'll stay out of my personal business." He said. "You've meddled in my life enough."
By now I have no idea where to stick my head in so I turn to face Austin. "I think I should go," I say to him.
He looks at me still frowning. "Yes sure, I'll give you a ride now." He said.
"No it's fine I'll take the bus. You can talk to your family." I said.
He doesn't argue with me but follows me as I go to the elevator. "I'll call you later?" He asks quietly.
I give him a nod before getting on the elevator.
