We learned a lot in the week that felt like it went way to fast. I did a lot of errands. Some of the other interns were also used for errands but not as much as I was.

The company was undergoing a transition. They were making ready for a new leader. Everyone was excited for the change. And wondering how different it will be to work under their old boss' son.

Some of the women are constantly fixing up their appearance . They're hopeful that the single, handsome new boss will fall hopelessly inlove with one of them.

"Nat, seeing as you have already met the new boss, would you be so kind and take these documents to him?" When I look up, I see only Debbie's head sticking out from the office.

"And by the way, I'm not really asking." she says again, with a smile. She then also stick's out a hand with the documents in it.

I get up and take the documents out of her hand and then the visible parts of Debbie, dissappears again inside her office.

When I enter the elevator, I pressed the button for the twenty-eighth floor. The CEO's office is the one on the thirtyth floor, but Austin Ames is not CEO officially. And therefore, his office is temporary on the twenty-eigth floor.

I've never been there personally, but  we are supposed to know what on every floor is.

When I exit the elevator again, I'm met with a lavishly decorated reception area. The reception desk is to my right. There is what looks like a conference room to my left. And straight in front, there are two offices. One obviously smaller then the other. I go to the receptionist and try to hand the documents to her. But she isn't willing to take it. And informs me that I will have to hand it over to his personal assistant. And at the current moment they are in a meeting. So I have to wait.

"It shouldn't be to long any more. Then you can just hand it over to miss Peirce when she comes out. Her office is the door straight to the left." The secretary informs me. Pointing to the smaller office.

The door to what I assume is a conference room suddenly opens and Austin Ames walks out following by a curvy women in a bright red dress. Mr Ames doesn't even seem to notice anyone, and walks towards his office without glancing around, something to which I'm grateful for.

The woman in red walks to the smaller office and I hurry after her with the documents.

"Hi, Debbie sent me to give this to Mr Ames." I stop the woman before she can enter her office.

She just replies with an okay and a thank you. And then enter her office and close the door.

I don't really have time to think about that because the door to Mr Ames' office opens and he walks out looking around. He turns to me when he notice me standing at his PA's door.

"Ah... The fire cracker. I need coffee. Please get me some. At the same place you almost gave me a black eye." And he also closes his door.

I'm sure a resemble a fish on dry land at the moment.

I take a deep breath and turn to the receptionist, who looks extremely busy. I can only wonder what is going on here.

"Sorry to bother you again, but can you please tell me what kind of coffee Mr Ames drinks?" I decide to ask the receptionist anyway.

"Espresso mostly." She answers while putting a phone to her ear.

"Oh and don't throw the sugar in. He throws it in himself. Just ask for four sachets." She talks again when I'm just about to enter the elevator again.

At the cafe I'm glad that there is once again not a very long waiting line. And it takes less then five minutes before I can give my order to the same barista who helped on my first day here.

"Hey again, pretty girl." He greets me with his sexy smile.

"Hey." I can't help but smile back at him. And for a small moment I feel shy.

After I get the espresso, I head back to the office and in no time I'm on my way back to the twenty-eighth floor.

I try to get the receptionists to take the coffee to Mr Ames. But she replies with a, "I'm busy", And I have no choice but to go knock on his office door.

"Enter." I hear his voice after a brief moment.

The first thing I notice when I enter the office, is the glass wall. It stretches from top to bottom. And in it is a pretty impressive view of the city. The rest of the office is modernly furnished.

Mr Ames is busy typing on a laptop and doesn't look up when I put his coffee down on his table desk.

" Your coffee, Mr Ames." I say and then turn around to leave as quickly as I can while trying not to look like I'm running a way. I still don't know why I'm trying to avoid him so much.

"Why are you running away from me
Miss Callan." I hear his voice when I'm just about to open the door.

I have no choice but to turn back and face him. I wonder how and why he knows my surname.  "Why would I be running away from you Mr Ames."

"I don't know, you tell me."
