they wonder
how it feels like to be adored
by thousands of unknown people
and to be treated like kings and queens
when they're actually just peasants

they often think about
how it is to be envied
for the jealous want everything they're having
and to be in the spotlight
spectators watching them closely
with sparkles shining in their eyes

but at the end of the day
we're just dreamers
with big aspirations
but very little drive

but at the end of the day

fantasizing ourselves
doing the most impossible things—

we could never achieve

but that's the role of a dreamer
and we'd rather pretend than
