you were oblivious to your faults
and ignorance can be bliss
so during that time, you thought you were prettyyou hadn't acknowledged your fat
you hadn't noticed the lack of beauty
dancing within your face and body
you thought, genuinely, that you were prettybruises and scars all around, painted
no face structure, big feet, average
you looked and envied their gorgeousness
in the reflection now, you think you're not prettySISLEY SPEAKS. // i feel like we can be pretty if we believe we are pretty. to believe in your beauty is the strongest enhance of your opinion on your appearances than whatever makeup or a new piece of clothing could give you. plus, insecurities are rather ugly, aren't they? having confidence exerts prettiness, or, gives the illusion of prettiness. however, having a beautiful heart is way better than having a beautiful appearance. you may not be the most beautiful in the room, but you can have the most beautiful heart, and that's better. treat people with kindness, compassion, and love. ❤️
