an untamed heart
looking at herself
in the mirror;
picking out harshly
her flaws and ugly features
disgust for herself
spreads wildly through
her body and seeps
in her skin —
she feels naked and bare
there is no mask
to hide her vises
no clothing could cover
her hideousness
and everyone will see, including she
self-hatred is what
fills her body
and anger breaks
natural gentleness
she once had
she has the urge to cut
