The concrete sidewalk was clear and bright. Peaceful sounds and the soft chatter of people were the only things Jeon Jungkook could hear during the early daytime at Busan. He dragged his luggage as he walked the path to his new home. The morning sunshine smiled upon the tall 20-year-old man, his chestnut brown hair turning into streaks of gold as he passed many buildings and establishments. Street shop owners slowly raised their blinds, signalling pedestrians about their available business. It wasn't as busy as what he was used to in Seoul as he watched a few people hustling and going on their day but this change of lifestyle wasn't exactly bad for him. He plugged his earphones and soothing k-indie music flowed in his ears as he head on his way.
A cool breeze blew in his direction, the smell of freshly baked food and warm coffee caught his attention. He stopped and followed the direction of the delicious scent. After mindlessly passing by a few stores, the source of the enticing trail was right in front of him. It was a cafe, with glass doors and wooden panels. Its huge pine wood sign light up, the fluorescent light wasn't as bright as the sun but Jungkook could evidently see the name of the building - "Heavenly Cream". Jungkook looked in through the window, he could see the wooden interior design and honestly, he was impressed. Fascinated by the design, he timidly opened the door. The hanging bell rang, he internally winced at the sound, not wanting to gain any social notice. The atmosphere of the cafe was just delightful. The chill of the outdoors was nice but the warmth of the shop made Jungkook slightly weak to his knees. Drawn by the bittersweet aroma of coffee beans being brewed, the male slowly took a seat near the front of the shop. The streets were very open from where he is. He watched as people flooded the walkways as the day began to start. He leaned his luggage on the wall and dropped his backpack too. Rolling his tired shoulders back and inhaling fresh air, he began to relax at the place. The cushioned wooden chair was comfortable and the table was the perfect size, he was getting very cozy in the new environment.
After a few moments of settling in, he scanned the place. The food was displayed exceptionally well, every single one looked very appetizing. The menu was written on the black chalkboard, which was decorated with string lights that created a bit of a modern style. However, the whole cafe is a mixture of styles. The lights and chandeliers showed modern, the wooden furniture and wooden design gave off the retro or home style and the small plants that are placed here and there made shop very eco-design. It was a bit messy if you looked into the practicality of the interior but Jungkook admits to himself that everything actually looks good put together. 'Heavenly Cream feels like home but then it also looks unique, in a sense,' Jungkook thought. In his mind, he could see the place to have a lot of potential for his photography.
Checking his wristwatch, it's 7:15 am and it's still pretty early. Outside, it looked busier now, seeing cars and people passing by. He quietly sighed and adjusted his white turtleneck, standing up and ambled to the front counter. A small bell placed upon the counter, a tiny note taped on it: 'Ring me and an angel will come at your service.'. With a slight raise of his eyebrow, he lightly pressed on the bell, a quiet noise rang and he waited. He could hear shuffling through his earphones so he took them off and he could now clearly hear the motion in the back room, he rang once again. Suddenly, the thin glass doors of the kitchen spread wide open - Jungkook could see a male figure coming out quickly. When the person arrived in front of him, his breath caught up in his throat. He was surprised by the sight this man behold him, the barista serving him today was just...divine. Jungkook, out of embarrassment, looked at the wooden counter and his eyes are glued to there. He was unable to look up when he's under the gaze of a handsome young man. The browned-haired boy was getting more flustered as time passed, he stood there and played with the hem of his sweater, hugging his thin frame.
"Good Morning sir. What can I get you?" A beautiful voice said, soft and welcoming. The barista sounds cheerful and friendly yet Jungkook remained shy as he gripped his sweater tighter. "O-one Ca-cappuccino please..." Jungkook stuttered shyly, a soft blush rose to his nose and cheeks. His stare shifted to the displayed food, looking everywhere to avoid the welcoming male.
