In Front Of You - Jikook

The brunette's stare finally left the crystal-like waters. The shimmer of coins below almost blinded him and as the darkness of the night grows, everything about the fountain is shimmering. He stood up straight and looked back at where he left his skateboard, he began "Jimin-hyung-". The male blinked, Jimin nor the skateboards were there. He looked around the left side of the park, they weren't there. Jungkook quickly turned around, ready to call out for the other until a creamy substance hits his lips.

(I know what you hoes are thinking ;) )

The sticky liquid smothered all over his lips, Jungkook's eyes widen when the realization hits him. A surprised expression appeared on Jimin too, he began stuttering "I...I'm sorry!". The younger slowly stuck his tongue out and tasted the unknown substance. A suppressed smile grew as he licked all the ice cream off his lips and exclaimed: "It's ice cream!". The other's face goes blank for a second and a sad smile appeared "Ah... I was hoping that I could scare you again.".

Jimin handed the other an ice cream cone, it was plain cookies and cream. Jungkook giggled cheerfully though, "Thanks, hyung." and started enjoying the ice cream. "I don't know what to get you so I just got that-" Jimin began to apologize but the other shook his head furiously "No! This is perfect! Thank you because Cookies and Cream is actually my favourite ice-cream flavour.". The older grinned widely "Oh? Good guess huh?". Jungkook chuckled and sat down on the edge of the fountain "Great guess actually. I'm guessing that yours is Rocky Road?"

The older faked gasped and playfully hide the brown ice-cream with small obvious bits behind him, sitting down beside the other "How did you know?!". The brunette follows along "I could read your mind hyung!" and the grey-haired barista replied "Really? What am I thinking right now?". Jungkook quickly answered teasingly "Jungkookie is the most handsome person you've ever seen." Both of them laughed and took a lick out of their ice-creams.

"Ah...brain freeze..." Jimin groaned as he held the side of his head when he accidentally took a big bite of the delicious Rocky Road. Jungkook laughed at his silliness and noted: "For a street ice-cream cart, this is really yummy.". The older agreed "Yeah. I've been the cart go around the neighbourhood and the streets but I've never actually tried it. It's pretty great.". Taking a bite out of the cone, the younger asked "Where are the skateboards?" and the other pointed to the grassy part where they are neatly placed.

A group of girls, about 5 or 6, started to giggle loudly from afar. Their chattering and "whispering" were pretty noticeable but not as audible for the two males to figure out what they're saying. Both of them looked over at the girls and they caught them all staring. When they made eye contact, all of the females and Jungkook became flustered. The girls once again giggled between them and now kept of looking at the two.

Jimin looked at the younger, an obvious blush evident on his cheeks and nose. He smirked "You got yourself some admirers Jungkookie~" he said in a playful tone, making the other blush even more. The girls must have seen the cute embarrassed expression on the bunny-like boy since they started squealing and whispering louder. "Hyung...it's no-not me. They-they like you..." Jungkook reverted the attention. Jimin's eyebrow raised and the cocky grin widens "Oh? Well, then that's good."

Suddenly, the group started to walk near them. About 4 started pushing the two other girls forward, sheepishly moving as the two males watch them. When all girls were finally near Jungkook and Jimin, all of them pushed a single female in front of the group. The girl, clearly younger than the boys, has most of her black straight hair covering her face as she looks down and twiddles with her fingers. Jungkook watched uncomfortably as the girls start at them with so much admiration and excitement. He glanced at Jimin, who was smiling kindly at the girl in front of them, but his discomfort is giving away even with a friendly expression on his face.

"Uhm...uhm.." The girl whispered softly, his voice laced with nervousness but also amusement. "Yes?" Jimin asked and the girls squealed excitedly. 'God, they're so head over heels for him.' Jungkook thought and shake his head, slowly cowering away from the situation but he tried to stay put. "We...My friends and I think that..." She said, slowly trailing off her sentence and all of them listened in curiosity.

"Me and my friends think...that you two are a really cute couple and that we totally support you and this is a dare for me to say this but we actually think you guys are really cute and I'm totally embarrassing myself right now God I can't stop talking because you two are too perfect for each other and we hope you two stay strong. FIGHTING!"

After the odd girl rambled on, all of them started hysterically laughing and dragged her away quickly, running away out of the park. This left both Jimin and Jungkook in utter shock. "We-we're..not..." Jungkook started stuttering, more to himself than the girls. He's turning tomato red now and tucked both of his hands between his legs. Heat rose to Jimin's cheeks as well, embarrassed and stunned. "Did-did they just assume that we're dating?" Jimin questioned and the younger let out a suppressed ashamed whimper of denial.

The older let out a breath and looked at the younger, who's deeply flustered by the assumption. The grey-haired, although also feeling uncomfortable, tried to say something humorous "I mean, who doesn't want to date me?". Jungkook looked up in surprised by a small smile played on his lips. "Jimin-hyung, you pabo!" He said and both of them laughed. "What? I'm just saying!" Jimin replied with a teasing smirk. The younger shook his head "You're too confident.". "I have a reason to be confident" and this made both of them burst out laughing.

"Do you wanna make a wish?" Jimin asked, fishing his pockets for some coins. Jungkook placed a subtle hand on Jimin's firm thigh, stopping him. The younger took out two silver coins from his pocket and gave one to the other. Jimin finished his ice cream and faced the fountain. It's brighter than earlier, Jimin stared in awe, finally seeing what Jungkook saw in it.

Rather than being mesmerized by the fountain as well, Jungkook stared at Jimin. The older doesn't know that his silver locks shined brighter as it reflected the moon-like lights and the lucidity of the water. His features became more elegant and prominent, making him glow. His alluring eyes are wide with fascination and his rose-tinted lips parted enthrallingly.

"Are you ready?" Jimin breathed, his voice much deeper and mature. Maybe because he rarely talked like this but it captivated the brunette. It made his heart skip a beat. He subconsciously nodded and he watched as Jimin closed his eyes, his eyelashes looked a lot longer, and his lips mouthed a silent request. He flipped his coin down, sinking deep into the water along with the many other metallic money. The younger's mind was almost blank when he dropped his coin down the fountain, his stare remained on only the other, but that doesn't wish that he didn't have a wish.

As a loving smile appear on Jimin's face and still with eyes closed, all Jungkook ever wanted in that minute was for his camera. He wished for his camera so he could save this moment, forever cherished.
