The charged phone finally turned on after being left dead for several days. Jimin scolded Jungkook "I can't believe you didn't even charge your phone, didn't you even wonder if I was going to text or call you?" but Jungkook didn't mind the scolding and was back to the spot where he was just staring at the stars "Well I was sure you didn't want to talk to me after what happened." He heard the older huffed and lean his back on his back as he looked through his phone "I always want to talk to you, no matter what."

"Oh yeah? Say that again during those days you ignored me." Jungkook snarled, still a bit annoyed by it. Jimin replied "I was moody then, I'm sorry!". Secretly, this just made him smile and just said "Fine, but forgiveness isn't a definite yes just yet."

"Taehyung texted you, and called you about a million times." The blankness in the barista's voice was justified, he didn't like the model to begin with, the incident was just another step for him to resent him. "You can ignore those, I don't want to see them." The brunette just sighed but Jimin didn't follow through, "He said sorry, then call me, then sorry, then sorry, then sorry, oh there's a bit of a threat there, then sorry. Wow, this guy is really a cun- ''''Jimin-hyung, it's okay. Ignore them all, I don't want to talk to him."

He agreed and just went through the device even more "You do know you're on the news right? And so many posts are about the event." Jungkook just replied nonchalantly "It was going to go public anyway, no matter what the results were, it was a very public event so I'm not surprised." "So you're not surprised that the company Taehyung is working for emailed you?" This got Jungkook to turn around, causing Jimin to fall back down to the bed "Ow?" he noted sarcastically. "Sorry hyung but what did they say?" He was intrigued, this was definitely unexpected.

"Hold on, let me see. Damn your WiFi got really slow, it'll take a while- ''''Jimin-hyung! This is important!" Jungkook laughed and took the phone away, Jimin chucked at his reaction. His eyes scanned the bright screen, his face painted in a neon blue hue. He focused on every word and slowly his expression widened more and more. The words "We hope you take this offer" hit his view and there it was, the future he's always dreamt about.

Facing the barista, his eyes were wide with surprise and looked at him, "You read it didn't you? You know what's in this email, right?". Jimin smiled, sincere pride masked him and he nodded. The photographer placed a hand over his mouth and reread everything, once, twice, three times. And by the fourth, he looked up again and said "They wanted me to travel around the world and take photos for them for 2 years...Without Taehyung and have a whole crew to myself." Jungkook said, to Jimin but more to himself, confirming that this dream job is true.

"That's a wonderful opportunity." Jimin took his hand and kissed his knuckles reassuringly. The younger's happiness was short lived as he realized that 2 years around the world is 2 years without Jimin. "But...what about us?" He asked, and Jimin looked at him, reading him like how he always does, before looking outside and to the stars "Is there an us?". Jungkook looked down to his hands, that question has a lot of weight in it and he didn't know the right answer so he stayed quiet.

The grey-haired barista looked back to him, with his prideful smile on his face again, "I really think you should take this job. You've always loved moving around and seeing everything. It's good pay and it's centered around you. It really is the dream job for a dream life." Jungkook shook his head, the cons starting to flood in his mind, clouding his decision "But I like it here now. I like my house, I like my job now, I like the people, I like the security of life in Busan. I like having you around too." but Jimin couldn't just let this offer die, even though it's breaking him inside. "It's also two years of you thinking about us. Because when you finally say yes to me, I want you to be sure. Because I want my next relationship to be the end game and I could see you as mine. I want you to see me as that too."

Empty thoughts filled Jungkook's mind before and now it's blank, except for the things the older just said. He had a point and Jungkook really considered it. He knows that the charming, loving barista laying in front of him, staring with his alluring eyes, is the one. But he really does need to make sure it's them in the end. Jimin continued, laying on his back and looking up at the ceiling, "Plus, it gives you time to be yourself, to grow as a person and explore. You can mingle with people and date others to see if there's someone more compatible with you."

"But I only want you." The younger male said as he laid down beside him, facing him as he watches. The older scoffed, "For now, you don't know the world yet, there will be people better than me." "And there are people better than me too but you still love me? Me?" Jungkook stated, the hardness in his voice growing, making Jimin turn towards him, looking deep in his eyes.

"Because you're the best to me already. I can't see myself loving anyone else but you." Jimin said, meaning every word.

"That's the same for me too, so I'm scared to leave you." Sadness laced his words but Jungkook stayed strong.

There was a moment of thought, both thinking of a way to resolve this - Jimin reaching a conclusion first, "Then I'll wait for you. I'll wait 2 years for you, for us. But I want you to go and be yourself, grow as a person on your own before you depend on me."

It crushed Jimin when he said that, but he knew it was the right thing for him. He will put Jungkook's needs over his any day, this was one of them.

This was it. This was his dream right in front of him and he had the love of his life willing to sacrifice that amount of time for him. Jungkook thought that he didn't deserve everything that was happening to him, to feel this much love and receive this big blessing. All his life, he was used to giving and giving and giving, even the things he loved the most, if it will make someone else happy then he will give it up for them. However this time, he felt differently. This time, he wanted to be selfish. He wanted to be successful.

He wanted to be loved.

"Okay, please wait for me until then."
