In Front Of You - Jikook

People flocked inside Heavenly Cream, waiting in line and admiring the full display of all the sweet and desserts. When the sun was in full blossom, the clouds accompanied it, casting faint shadows on the ground. Heavenly Cream though, shone the brightest. The sun's rays focused on the establishment, causing people's attention to lead there.

That's not the only thing that caught the crowd's attention though. Cotton candy pink and baby blue signs were in front of the cafe, they were about an average person's height and the letterings were big and visible. 'Sweetness in Heaven! It's Desserts Day!'. The teens and adults were clearly excited but anyone's heart would melt at the sight of bouncing children ogling the food in awe, honest enthusiasm in their small eyes.

Jungkook's heart melted the most. He was itching to give the small kids free cookies or cupcakes but he just watched from the kitchen window as the three baristas worked with bright smiles and soft voices. He observed each one, the three baristas have their own styles and ways of approaching, which interest him.

Hoseok was the energetic hyung that would always make moments extra fun. His deep crimson hair already caused spontaneous attention towards him. Although, his laugh was the truly the thing that brought the spotlight to him. He would smile really brightly and his laughter is contagious. Whenever he serves, he would be funny and make the customers laugh. He would wave goodbye to the kids gleefully which also brightens up their mood. He's just basically a ball of sunshine.

Jin could be serious as he is the owner of the cafe, but he honestly rarely becomes strict. His gorgeous looks lead to people looking at him first, then getting another second glance. His interior is manly but with his soft features, there's a hint of femininity to him too. His blonde hair also makes him stand out, all of them do because of their unusual hair colors, and his rosy smooth skin adds on to his charisma. He's got all the appeal, tall, attractive and funny, making women fall for him.

Lastly, Jungkook's gaze always comes back to this person. The grey-haired smiled sweetly at a family and handed them their orders. Jimin, his first friend and the kind barista. First impressions of him would vary. His piercing eyes could be intimidating, his facial features are alluring and seductive, to begin with. Jungkook could see newcomers gasped once they were in front of Jimin, getting all flustered but they kept their composure better than he did the first day. But that smile, his smile, appeared. Something about his grin radiated with friendliness. Behind those alluring features of his, his bubbly personality comes out. His voice is a bit high but it sounds cute. His eyes go wide and hopeful as he faced them, the intimidation gone and peace comes in. Something about Jimin brings you to calm yourself and feel comfortable. Jungkook didn't hear what the female customer said to the grey-haired but Jimin's cherry chuckles echoed in his ears, causing him to smile too.

In his hands, was his trusty camera. He decided that he already took enough photos when the day began, when it was the busiest but in that moment, he just needs another one. He snapped the photo and finally turned it off, setting it down on the table. He went out of the kitchen door and leaned on the wall for a second. Everybody seems to just go on their day, enjoying the sweets and happily chatting in their tables. Today has been busier than normal but it's actually fun. Jungkook doesn't like crowds but when families and close people gather to appreciate this day, he didn't mind it at all.

A tiny little boy suddenly stumbled in front of him. He hasn't even reached his hips, the boy just tugged on his jeans. He stared up at the tall brunette with curious eyes, Jungkook has to sit down to meet his eye level. "Hello there." Jungkook said quietly, the boy's hand retreated from his jeans onto his own little overalls. The brunette patted the boy's raven hair "Where's your mom?." He pointed to a young-looking lady sitting at a nearby table, talking to what seems like her friend and glancing back and forth from the kid. The lady smiled knowingly to Jungkook and he stared back at the boy. "Do you want a cupcake?" He asked and the boy nodded, a cute pout on his lips. Jungkook chuckled and held the small hand of the boy. He reached for one unicorn cupcake on the front counter and he could feel the child's grip tighten, not on his hand but his pinkie. Jungkook beamed and bent down again for the boy, giving him his cupcake. The boy accepted it, using his two tiny hands to hold on to the dessert. He stuffed the food and took a big bite. The frosting went on his nose and cheeks but he wasn't fazed, he just simply smiled and giggled. "Yum!" The boy exclaimed and Jungkook just chuckled as he watched him eat the cupcake messily. His big thumb against the small face of the boy wiped the frosting "You're so messy.". The tall male tried to wipe off all the icing but the kid just ate more and more. He finally gave up and let the boy enjoy his cupcake.

"T-thank...You!" The boy stuttered, Jungkook finally heard the adorable sound of the kid. The boy stepped closer to Jungkook and rested his two hands on the brunette's broad shoulders, then leaned in for a hug. Jungkook just smiled widely, his eyes wrinkling and a giggle bubbled from him as he wrapped his arms around the precious baby. He could just melt by the cuteness of this sweet little boy.

"I could see it now," Jin said to Jimin, who handed in the change of the last customer in his line. Customers finally settled in and the baristas could have a bit of free time. "See what?" Jimin answered and looked at his hyung. The older male pointed to his left and both of them looked at the sight of Jungkook feeding the boy with a cupcake. The grey-haired male looked at him in amazement, his eyes widening by the sight. Jungkook smiled cheerfully as the kid hugged him and he returned the hug. Jin broke the trance "You have that look again." "What look?". His hyung smirked, "You look like you're just either gonna melt or you're going to rush up there and ambush him with a hug.". The younger raised an eyebrow "How would you know?", "Because that's the look of love.". Jimin shook his head no "That's too early for that hyung." but Jin stared at him "It's never too late, plus you're already falling for him.". "No, I'm not." "You don't know it yet.". "Whatever hyung." Jimin dismissed it and walked over to Jungkook.

He grabbed a packet of cookies and bend down with the other. The boy lets go of the hug and stared at Jimin, he eyed him purely. "Hey, here's cookies," Jimin said, grinned as the boy excitedly took it. The kid surprisingly walked between his legs and wrapped his arms around the barista's neck. The boy did a quick peck on his cheeks and moved away, he was so lovable. "Open!" He asked Jungkook, who obliged happily. Untying the ribbon, the brunette took one cookie and gave it to the little kid. The boy took both the plastic bag and the cookie, he puts the cookie in his mouth but he took another one of the bag. "Mmh" The boy hummed and gave one to Jungkook, it seems like his smile became bigger. Jimin just stared at the two as they enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies. The boy and Jungkook bit into theirs, crumbs fall onto their faces and they giggled. The sweet kid took another one as he was halfway to his and reach over to Jimin "Here." he offered with a stuffed mouth. Jimin smiled gratefully and took a bite out of the delicious treat. "He's adorable, isn't he?" Jungkook asked as he chewed into his cookie while he pats the boy's hair again. "Yeah, he is." Jimin agreed. Though the younger clearly indicated that it was the boy they were talking about, Jimin was thinking of another as he stared at them with blissful joy.
