Chapter 3

Jack's POV

I woke to the sound of my phone constantly receiving notification. Which only consists of hundreds of girls asking if I want to go out with them. Honestly, it's a headache. I ignore my phone and take a quick shower. After getting dressed I head downstairs, Emma my little sister is still in PJs and watching TV. "Em aren't you meant to be getting ready for school?" She shakes her no, "I'm sick." I plant a kiss on her head, "Get better." I quickly eat breakfast and leave the house. On the way to school I run into Tooth, Anna and Elsa. "Morning Jackie!" Jackie? Rapunzel calls me that all the time. "Hey Tooth." Anna waves and Elsa just nods at me. What felt weird on our way to school was that Tooth was always close to me, similar thing happened yesterday. It was off putting but it's Tooth she's always like this... is she?

I look over at Elsa who was looking up at the sky. She really has changed a lot from the first time I met her. Two years ago, she was... well suicidal and cold. At first it was hard to negotiate with her and start up conversation and now she's opened up more and smiling more which I love. I caught myself staring at her. I look away shyly, we're great friends but those qualities I told her yesterday basically described her when I realised it. But we're just friends and I'd like if we stayed like that...

We arrive to school and it's the same old same, girls squeal, swoon and scream as I walk pass them. Tooth grabs my arm and drags me into the school safely away from the crazy girls outside. "Ha thanks Tooth." I thank her. She smiles brightly, "No worries."

Then there was commotion. I turn around and Anna was holding onto some girl's arm and Elsa was pushing another girl aside. I look at Tooth and she shrugs, I run up to them. "Hey, hey, what's going on?" Anna speaks up, "This girl here," she points to a brown-haired girl, "pulled my hair. Elsa saw it pushed her aside and her friend here got mad and wanted to fight Elsa, so I held her back." I look at the brown-haired girl who was now in tears, "I'm sorry... Please forgive me Jack." I sigh, "It's ok and it shouldn't be me you should say sorry to." The girl looks at Anna, "I...I-I'm sorry." "It's ok..." Anna says politely. On the other hand, Elsa looked pissed. "Calm down Els." She looks at me, "I'm calm totally calm, I'm chill bro." I shake my head amused.

During lunch, I take a seat next to Elsa who then scooted away. I scooted closer, and she scooted away. A grin crept on my face, I scooted closer quickly and grabbed her chair from going further. "H-hey!" She shouts. I laugh my head off, "Why are you moving away from me huh?" She taps her finger, "Because I want to?" I lean towards her and she leans back. Amused I lean closer and again she leaned back until her limit. She looks behind her and curses under her breath. "J-Jack you're too close..." I tilt my head; our faces were only a few inches away from each other's. I shorten the distance of our faces slowly, "Am I?" She places her hand over my face pushing it. I lick her hand and she quickly retreats it, "Eww did you just lick my... you're gross." I laugh my ass off, she's too funny.

She wipes her hand on my jeans, "Um do you mind?" She continues wiping her hand on my jeans, "Um your saliva is on my hand I'm just returning what's not mine." Fair. The rest of the gang finally arrive, Tooth takes a seat next to me. Then Elsa stands up and sits on the other side of the table. I'm confused, what's going on...

Elsa's POV

That guy is unbelievable. Seriously, I have to sanitise my hand thoroughly. I get a text from Jack. Why is he texting me when he's literally right there?

Jacko Wacko

J: Why'd you move to the other side of the table?

E: Because I can.

J: Well duh but why?

E: Because you.

J: Oh, thought it was something else.

E: What????

J: You and Tooth, thought you two had beef.

E: Oh no of course not, just trying to get away from you that's all 😊

J: Don't lie, you love it when I'm near you. 😉

That text made my heart skip a beat. He's right though... but Tooth is just too precious to hurt.
