LILAC'S POV
You finally arrive at the dragons' island, only to see it's almost completely deserted. This can't be good - usually, an independent hunting group of dragons only consists of a few, though if there's a raid going on at Norrle, it consists of most dragons, so the island would be deserted, but there clearly wasn't a raid.
There are two dragons still there, which you see as Cheorviss lands, and the second he does, you jump off and run up to the dragons. "Pandora! Alrair! Where is everyone?"
"The island has been discovered," Alrair says gravely. "The others had to flee. We waited back so that we could tell you and Cheorviss."
"How is that possible? We're hundreds of miles off the coast and we get discovered in the space of a single afternoon?" you protest.
"I'm not sure," Pandora says quietly. "But we'll be fleeing for a time. There were dragons - hundreds of them, enough to rival our own tribe!"
"I repeat - how? We chose this spot specifically for the lack of other dragon tribes!" Cheorviss cuts in.
You nod. "It shouldn't be. But perhaps it wasn't an afternoon, and they were steadily moving closer each day," you realize.
"It's a possibility," Alrair says. "Whatever the case, we need to get moving before they come back to...move in, or whatever they plan to do."
You jump back onto Cheorviss, and all three dragons take flight almost in sync. "Where are we going?" you shout over the wind.
"We're following the other dragons, who presumably went to find a new, suitable spot for a home," Pandora says.
"How are we going to track them?" you ask.
"It didn't happen all that long ago. We know where they generally went," Alrair says slowly. "It won't be too hard to catch up, hopefully."
"I get it, I guess," you say. "I just can't believe this happened. One run of bad luck after another."
"Something happen to you?" Pandora asks.
You explain what happened in Norrle.
"Oh. That's not good either," she says. "We'll have to be on better lookout from now on."

Author's Note: So I tried to write a decent chapter but I probably failed miserably because I was watching YouTube satire in the background. So if that leaked through to my writing, I am very sorry.
