Chapter seven: boredom in the bedroom

"Callie..... I'm sooo boooooooored!!!" Vanessa yells from her laying position on Callis' bed. Callis looks over from her vanity with an irritated look, her face half done. Vanessa let out a chuckle at the sight of the uncompleted Callis. Rolling her eyes she turned back to her mirror. Vanessa groaned again before rolling off the gold-purple bed and heading towards Callis' closet. Opening the doors Vanessa stepped in picking at the dozens of pairs of pants.
"When do you ever WEAR these?" Vanessa called from the closet running her hands over denim. Callis leaned back on the furry bench she was sitting on, peering into the closet, she tipped, falling over.
"Ugh.. Vanessa. Those are pants, I'm wearing some now.." she yawned from her blue carpet, black hair everywhere. Vanessa stared at Callis for a moment before crawling over to Callis with a smirk. Sitting behind Callis' head Vanessa began to braid her friends hair with a smile.
Giggling Callis let her friend braid in strands of gold ribbon, as the two contemplated the newest parts of their lives, how Vanessa's mother, Sophie, had decided to basically tried to turn Vanessa into a prince magnet, which had failed. Miserably.
"I'm so glad your spending your summer with us..." Callis smiled closing her eyes dreaming about the things they could do.. camping, exploring... messing with her siblings. Vanessa smiled watching her younger friend think, not telling her everything her mother had told her...
