Callis was swimming in the royal pool knowing her mother was probably in a spiral of depression and denial. She felt horrid, but she'd tried to speak to her mother, only to be yelled at to go away from her father, who seemed to be in the room with Agatha. It'd been a week since Callis' new brother and sister had been born, meaning today was her last day in Camelot before she headed off to the school for good. Callis loved to swim, and she was great at it. She did laps trying to keep her thoughts at bay. Instead, she thought about what to pack for school. The school allowed students to bring three bags, a rule her Aunt had fought to get put in place. Callis also knew that she'd most likely be placed on a high pedestal as bother her mother was one of the best students to ever attend the school. And suddenly Callis heard a creak echo through the outdoor pool, a creak that was coming from the fence. Callis went stiff as she slipped out of the cool waters, grabbing a net from the pool side. The gates creaked again.. Then a tiny little blue mouse slipped right out. Callis let out a shriek.
"GET OUT YOU PESKY THING!!" She squealed raising the net.
Then the mouse glowed a brilliant blue and transformed into a boy.
