 "Dear darling,
How are you? I saw you at the theater of tales, you looked so great in the uniform, designed by yours truly. It's a new uniform too! With the white and pink striped shirt, with the cute puffed sleeves and pink Peter pan collar, not to mention the demin skirts, you all look great. And seem happy with the uniforms! On the other hand, the majority of my students hate their nice black shirts and silver pants and skirts! Not to mention the sweaters with names, you girls get nice baby blue sweaters with your names sewed in copper. Now that we have our yearly classes instead of one class for every three years we think it's going to be much better. The youngest class has copper, then silver and our seniors have gold. It's on the crests (and their names for sweaters) but you'll barely see the juniors or seniors. Your a freshmen! Totally different schedules. Dovey just told me about the prince situation, they had princes pick you up? Why! Dovey also mentioned that Callis tried to wear a pair of jeans she brought, pants! Not just pants but jeans! Jeans for goodness sake! Jeans don't go with your all heels (and flats for those who would rather have them) . Then again, Callis probably has those flats. Are you wearing the inch or three inch heels? I wanted to add taller variations but Professor Anemone told me you'll learn a spell for that so it shouldn't matter. Speaking of Callis, why is she ranked so low! And why are you ranked so high? You're not even at the right school!
This might seem a little sudden but, Does Callis get letters? I mean if she does, have i been mentioned in them? Maybe Aunt Agatha has said something about me! Maybe-" Callis sighed, stopping Vanessa from reading, she looked up. "No more?" She questioned, Callis nodded sadly, sipping her black coffee. "Why does she hate me?" She looked down at her strawberry chicken salad. Vanessa shrugged as she dragged paste across the back of her letter, a page open in her journal which was full of letters just from the past first week. Each with their pink and black stationery, each with a signature at the bottom, "dean of evil" crossed out and "Mom" scribbled in. With "Sophie" underneath. Vanessa thought it was cute, Callis thought it was weird.
"Do you get letters from your mom?" Vanessa asked, taking a quick look around at the other tree stump tables with students on pillows eating.
Callis shook her head, glance on Vanessa as she smoothed out the paper letter.
"How many is that now?" She asked, scratching the back of her neck under her ponytail, she hated the little bump from the magic tracker that each student got this year, each kid got tracked with their magical growth. Now, not only did their fingers glowed but so did their necks. Callis strongly disliked it.
"It's the eighth one." Vanessa smiled, looking up. So far, she was the strongest princess the castle had seen since Callis' mom. While Callis was on the very bottom of the ranks.
"In a week?" Callis looked back down. Embarrassment enough, She missed her parents. She missed Arthur!
"Yea. It's nice she writes all those letters." Vanessa nodded back at her, she sipped a strawberry smoothie.
"So, how was beautification?" Callis sat straight back up, her shirt wrinkling. Vanessa's face lit up, she loved to talk about her strongest class.
"We did hair dyes" her smile brightened, stroking a lock of pink hair.
"Well not really hair dye, but we messed with our hair and stuff. Why are you even asking? You have beautification before me. You know what we did, you have class before me.. is everything okay Callis? I know you don't have the best rank right now, but I could help? I could tutor!"
Callis shook her head, grabbed her coffee and bag and stalked off, leaving Vanessa alone at the stump.
